Date someone special from United States. My name is David and I live and work in Sacramento. I studied Graphic Design at Sac State and now work downtown at a job I love doing design and photography. I also love to draw and create artwork in my spare time. I go out a lot and don't have any issues being social or meeting people but this site seems like a good supplement to that. Another huge passion of mine is mixed martial arts and fitness in general. I train in various forms (Kenpo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo, and Muay Thai Kickboxing) 5-6 days a week. One of my many life goals is to compete in a cage fight or two before I get too old.
I live life to work hard and play hard. I am an extremely passionate, motivated and goal oriented person who knows my path and purpose. During the week days I work all day and train in the evening. I might sneak an hour or two to unwind but my days are busy from sun up to sun down. On the weekends you can find me in the clubs letting loose with friends. I won't lie, when I'm single I party hard and won't apologize for it. I wouldn't mind taking it easy if I found someone worth it though. Nothing beats a nice chill night on the couch with movies and popcorn with someone you care about.
I like a girl with a great smile (and one that does often). You must be a positive person to be in my world because I have waisted far too much time in my life with negative women with little to no ability to commit or work on things when they aren't absolutely perfect. I have had enough negativity and spitefulness in my relationships to last a lifetime. My idea of a great relationship is two people that uplift and support each other and live to make each other happy. You have to be able to put your ego aside as well when disagreements arise. Seems pretty straight forward but I have found those traits to be pretty rare. I come from a huge tight and loving family (23 cousins on my mom's side) and my parents have been married for over 30 years and still flirt with each other. I expect nothing short of strong passionate love. Otherwise I'd rather just stick to being single and pursuing my passions and goals and having a good time. Fitness is extremely important to me as well and my partner must be as well.

Maybe that is a little deep but i've learn so much over years and cherish even the simplest things. I spent time in the U.S military which allowed me to travel the world and experience different cultures, art and music. I am a huge Basketball fan! Currently I enjoy watching comedy movies simply because I rather laugh then get the crap scared out of me! Quite honestly I think Horror films are funnier than comedy movies. I would say the normal statement and say I love all types of music, but I might be lying. I truly love Hip-Hop, R&B and Soul music. Other music genres don't move me as those three however I still can appreciate the other art forms. I think my biggest and best trait is that I am a truly genuine person. The type of lady I would like to spend my time with is someone who loves to laugh and enjoy herself. I like an independent and educated woman.

Some advice, I'd be rather impressed if a girl had a section in her write up where she ranted about her bad qualities. For example, I have no problem telling you that sometimes i get drunk and yell obscenities at my cats. Makes me feel like a big strong man. See what that did? It built trust. Many times before I've accidently run into girls who wouldn't give me the time of day on here, but fall madly in love with me at a bar. Now on to my write up…
Well....I've always aspired to be a renaissance man which pretty much means I'm mediocre at a thousand things.
from golfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, grappling, painting, clay shooting, surfing, cycling, writing, sailing and so on...I’m sad to say that I’ve yet to find a single activity that I’m exceptional at.
But, I do take pride in the fact that I've dabbled in them all.
I received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis and a B.A. in Economics from CSUS. In regards to work, I'm currently in charge of Sales at a Bio-tech company.
You'll also often catch me cheering or mourning throughout the day due to the woes and wins of the NYSE.
I love rocking jeans and a t-shirt or a tie and a suit but you'd never catch me in anything in-between.
In regards to music, I listen to everything but mostly electronica, folk and metal...a little Bieber and Perry here and there doesn't hurt either.
I'm also a big fan of the great outdoors. A long hike followed by star gazing session tends to water down all of my worldly troubles. It's cheap therapy for a patient demographic.
I really hate writing these by the way.
I've been on match in the past and I'll tell you something, a 5 minute coffee date is more informative than novels of emails and self appraisals.
