Date men and women from United States. So...where do I begin? I'm currently living in Sacramento and moving down to San Diego in a couple months for work. I'm a born and raised Northern California boy, but definitely looking forward to the change. When I'm not at work, you can find me playing ultimate frisbee on my co-rec team, playing basketball in my other rec league, pretending that I know what I'm doing on the golf course, having a scotch at the bar downstairs from my place, or in Napa tasting at one of the wineries whose wine club I joined.
Some things about me that you won't find out from these generic questions below: I'm very family oriented. I come from a big, big (and loud) family so if I bring a girl home, she better be down for many family functions. My friends are like family. They keep me real and I would say they even make me into a better person. What my friends say about me: "He's always down to have a good time. He's motivated and hardworking." I'm serious about work and I'm always trying to be the best, but I also know how to relax and enjoy what life has to offer.
Now the all important "what am I looking for". I'd love to meet someone that is confident and driven. Someone that can make me laugh. Someone that compliments me. Someone who is adventurous and not scared to try new things. Someone that is my best friend. Someone that I can ultimately share my life with. Someone that can keep me on my toes. Someone that appreciates the small things I do for them. Someone that can hold their own with my friends. Someone that loves a night on the town, but at the same time is down for a Red Box night. Someone that reaches over and opens my car door after I open theirs. Someone that enjoys having a great dinner, having coffee and dessert, and having great conversation while being the last couple in the restaurant. Someone that has as wide a range of musical taste as me. Someone that knows what song "Birthdays was the worst days...now we sip champagne when we thirsty" is from.

Meet a man from United States. I'm almost 31 and it has come to this. I'll never hear the end of it from my brothers if/when this plan comes to fruition. I'm in no rush with this and would be completely fine meeting some people and making new friends, no pressure.
That being said, I am a hopeless romantic that would like to settle down eventually. Seems simple enough, eh? It sure would get my mom off my back, haha! It's funny how quickly the attention turns to you once your brothers get married and have kids. My nieces and nephew are awesome kids and I cherish the little time I get to spend with them, even if it is a quick chat over FaceTime! I have a good relationship with my family and feel lucky to be brought up in a loving, thriving household. My parents have been married for 35 years and have certainly "grown old" together.
I have an excellent job, which was my reason for relocating to California from Phoenix. I am in sales for a large corporation and absolutely love my job. I get to interact with people all day, take them to lunch, take them golfing occasionally, all while making money! What a concept?!?! I love the weather out here and can see myself living here for a long time. It is so nice to not deal with 110 degrees for 4 straight months of summer.
I just moved downtown, so when I'm not at work, I'm usually turning the wrong way down a one way street, haha! I've spent the first few months having a good time and going out a lot. I love the assortment of restaurants, bars, etc that we have. I try to spend at least one weekend a month in either Tahoe or San Francisco just to get away and check out my new surroundings. I am also amazed with the Redwoods and love dragging people with me to go see them.
I have been fortunate in my life to travel quite a bit, but the list of "places I want to go" never seems to get any smaller. I would hope that you share my passion for getting out and experiencing new cultures, even if it is a last minute road trip to get out of town!
You don't have to have everything figured out, but I hope you have the desire to succeed and are making decisions each day that move you in the right direction. I value brains, grammar and witty sarcasm... if you possess any of these traits, we're on the right path.

I like to have fun and spend time with family and friends. I just moved to back to Nor Cal in September so I'm looking for someone to explore the area with on bicycle, foot, car, and snowboard. I've been snowboarding for right around 17 years, surfing for about 7, and skateboarding for about 16 even though I'm afraid to fall down stairs with my brittle old bones so I tend to roll around town like a hippie instead of doing tricks. I get bored pretty easily so I like to try new things...constantly, even if it's something as simple as a new card game or a new trail to hike. My dad was in the Air Force so I grew up traveling, we even lived in England for a few years when I was a kid. I joined the Air Force when I was 20 and then became a government contractor for a couple years after my enlistment so I've lived all over the US and have been all over Europe, Middle East, South Korea, and South America. I'd love to live abroad but all of my family lives in California and I just don't see them being overly excited about that! I've been sponsoring 2 daggone lil Africans for about 3 years now and someday I'd like to visit them and check out the nightlife in Kenya and Rwanda...I've recently taken on 13 more kiddos and it really is addicting...it's just exciting to get letters from them and see how much I'm able to help! I'd just like to find someone who likes to be outside, try new things/foods, and strives on becoming a better and more positive person by the day. Being happy and joyful is the only way to be and what better way to do it than laughing constantly! :)

My parents divorced when I was very young and I am the only child so I moved around a lot. I learned to speak korean and japanese but english was my primary language. A month before 9/11 happened I joined the Navy for a couple of years. Ok, about me... I enjoy traveling, exploring new areas, hiking, learning about almost anything new, and just having a good time doing whatever (I am a firm believer of, “it’s not what you’re doing, but who you are doing it with.” :-) ). I am a guy... so I do tend to get excited about the normal "guy stuff" too (cars, sports, martial arts, etc.). I do like to eat and I don't necessarily stick to a diet of tofu and rice cakes, so I try to get in some sort of workout/activity almost every day of the week (except Sundays… those are for being lazy and watching football). When I go out it's usually to a good restaurant or a low key bar with good beer and good company. I'm not really into the trendy club atmosphere, but I do enjoy seeing a live band play. When the weather is nice, I like to get outdoors or go for a nice scenic drive somewhere. I also enjoy checking out museums or interesting exhibits because they tend to spark my passion for knowledge. Ok, I guess that is more or less how I like to spend my time. As far as personality goes, I'd say I'm a fairly laid back individual. I handle stressful situations well and I always try to keep the big picture in focus. I've been told I'm funny by people other than my mom... but I still screw up every joke I try to tell. Most people would consider me rather smart... however, I find myself constantly doing stupid stuff :-P My friends tell me I'm the "dumbest genius they know." I try to be kind and courteous whenever possible. I like to consider myself a good listener, but only when I’m not talking about myself and how awesome I am ;-) However, I have been known to ramble on and on about something if I’m passionate or excited about it. A swift kick to the shin or punch to the face is all it takes to shut me up. And I probably use too many smiley faces when I write :-)

I appreciate someone who keeps their body and mind in good condition. I'm a sucker for a witty and intelligent woman, but I don't require my date to have a Ph.D in Quantum Physics (if you do, that's ok too :-) ). Kindness, passion, loyalty, playfulness, and a great sense of humor are all qualities that will quickly win me over too.
