I enjoy good conversation on a variety of subjects, including politics, world affairs etc. I am retired and hope to enjoy this time in life with a friend and lover doing things we both enjoy. However, separate interests are welcome because they provide an opportunity for learning as well as the need for separate spaces. For me, I love to read, listen to music, visit art museums, walk and travel. Exercise is part of my life, particularly yoga, helping others through volunteering and spending time with good friends and family. I would like to share my life with someone who is kind, caring, honest, and has a good sense of humor. Hopefully he likes to travel, enjoy good food and wine and not care that I am not gifted domestically and am rather independent. My children and grandchildren are a very important part of my life especially my 6 year old granddaughter with whom I spend as much delightful play time as possible.
I have had a wonderful and long career as a lawyer and am now a mediator. Retirement is a wonderful new challenge for me, pursing interest, spending time with friends, enjoying new experiences, such as interesting classes, discussion groups and a book club. And, enjoying the quiet time, too.
