.... short story, I'm originally from Ohio, moved to LA nearly 4 years ago after finishing up grad school. I studied sport marketing all through school, but found out that I love being a fan more. Now I work in international marketing and it's the best curveball life has ever thrown my way (--see what I did there with the sports pun). I love what I do, and I've definitely been a "career-first, social-life second" type of person, which is why I'm here. Trying to break old habits and change things up a bit.
Here's what I think you should know about me:
1. I'm tall, as in if you tell me on your profile that you're 6 foot but you're really 5'9- I'm going to be taller than you. Especially when I show up rocking a high heel! Consider yourself warned.
2. I'm shy at first, but I PROMISE that once I feel comfortable around you I don't shut up. Expect lame jokes and self-deprecating humor.
3. I'm competitive in probably the most annoying way. Bowling. Flip cup. Bocce ball. I don't like to lose. Luckily, I'm pretty good at most things.
4. I would consider myself a foodie - but chocolate, pizza, and guacamole are staples in my diet. Along with juiced greens.
Now, if you're still reading this I assume that you were impressed by my photos and the above ramblings... so here's what I'm looking for in YOU.
1. A good, stable job. My career is pretty important to me, and I really want a partner that feels the same. I don't really care what it is you do, so long as you're passionate about it and are ambitious about reaching your goals.
2. You are athletically inclined and/or enjoy sports. Again, it's about having a common ground and sports are a big part of my life. I want to be with someone that wants to play beach volleyball on the weekends, tailgate or watch the Lakers.
3. You can carry a stimulating conversation. I am looking for someone that's not afraid to fly their inner-dork flag. If you can challenge me intellectually, I will be hooked!
4. You eat your veggies (hear me out on this one) What's more boring than a sandwich with just meat and cheese and bread? It's not really about the vegetables, just don't be boring. Spontaneity and adventure is a must.
