I love walking in the Redwoods or woods, walking the beaches on the Mendocino coast, and love the Mt Shasta area.
I'm not a good judge of who I am, but here goes. I am open, honest, caring. I have a great personality and love to laugh. I guess my wit and personality are my strongest qualities. (So I am told.) I am a no bull woman and hate, hate, HATE to play games. I love to learn from others and my views and beliefs are not carved in stone. I find intellectual sparring and debating interesting. Helps me to learn different perspectives of others and get to know someone better. Besides it can be fun. Love to read, can't seem to put my Kindle down, am learning to cartoon, getting back to my piano. I volunteer in a local thrift shop. I adore my co-workers. They are true gems, they keep me laughing and I appreciate that. Truthfully, I have many interests, in fact too many to list here, but if that's what you feel defines someone send me an email and I'll let you know. Not to worry though. Just because someone sends a casual email doesn't mean we're engaged or anything like that. Not that desperate. Promise I won't latch on --- unless that's what you want. :-)
I know I'm not a super looker, but not bad for woman of my age. If someone can see beyond the physical trappings then they're the man for me. I AM NOT overweight nor am I real skinny. I'm just average and look pretty good in my clothes. I still have the ability to turn heads once in GREAT while. I am a great listener and function as a sounding board quite well. Presently I am not looking for a serious commitment (i.e., marriage or living with someone). Just getting to know someone and to share some time would be nice. I am not looking for someone to take care of me in my old age (if I ever ge there).
I love to be casual, but clean up nicely. Function well at social events. I am a one-man woman and hope to find the closest friend of my life. I believe that deep relationships should not be rushed into and should take time. They are built on trust, truth and great friendship. If people have this they have everything and nothing but good (great) things will grow from this. I love to hold a man's hand especially if I care for him. I guess being ravaged (gently) once in a while might be nice. Oh yes, would love to meet someone who has lots of music in their life. someone who listens, plays an instrument, whatever. Not too fond of classical or heavy metal, or rap. Love folk, especially The Weavers, jazz, country, blue grass, doo wop (50's), Bee Gees, Eagles, Kenny Vance and Jackie Gleason for romantic times, and a lot more. Love campfire sing-alongs.

I'm a Silicon Valley tech retiree who moved to a house in the redwoods NW of Willits 4 years ago. Have always loved camping and being outdoors, so I'm in heaven smelling the clean air at 2500РІР‚в„ў, views to almost forever, watching all the local wild critters, and hearing the sound of wind through the trees.
I'm an active person, although I have to admit I have slowed down in the last few years. I have used my time here to fix up my home and land, make friends, settle into the community, and be an active volunteer for 3 local non-profits.
Unfortunately, I also need to work at least part-time because I have a mortgage. I love to landscape and there are more than a wealth of opportunities terracing my hillside.
And I want to find someone to share my life with. I want to start each day with someone special, maybe sitting together at the table or on the porch, talking about what we are hoping for on this day. Every day can be a mini adventure.
