My time is spent restoring my old family home, organic gardening, painting, sculpting, barbecues, dinner parties, listening to live music, going to museums and art openings. I have an art collection, mostly 20th century European abstract paintings, prints, tapestries, and sculpture. I am hoping to meet someone who can enjoy my interests. Please have some new and stimulating interests to tantalize me with.
I love entertaining. We often have spontaneous gatherings at my house. Social interaction with family and friends is a great joy. I am longing to meet someone who likes to participate, who also has a full life to share. Someone who is sure of himself, not jealous, comfortable with his maturity and mine.I love male company, whether it be my 4 grown sons, my man, my two outrageous grandsons,or my many friends.
The man in my life will enjoy being appreciated for his unique self. Preparing delicious meals, replete with candlelight, music and fine wine will be one my gifts to him, I hope that a long and intriguing conversation would follow. My humble organic garden could be part of the repast. Men who cook are definitely on my A list, bringing the joy of sharing good food and hopefully good company to the table.
Day trips or very long ones will be exciting as long as we are together. and when one of us needs alone time it just makes our reunion sweeter.
I am as irreverent of the ordinary as I always was, choosing the life of an artist who speaks through her often provocative work. I miss having a muse to bounce sometimes outrageous ideas off of, someone who might tale pity on me and throw me a crumb, along with a glass of good wine when i'm doing a 12 hour painting marathon. I promise, the rewards will be worth the trouble, and the favor will be returned.
I love travel to beautiful places in search of that which sparks creativity.
My last international trip was to the French part of Switzerland. It was so enjoyable that I am going back soon.Paris is only 5 hours away by train...
I have noticed that a number of men on this site would like to be with a woman who is younger...... read the statistics guys! We usually outlive you.The other thing that has began to bug me is "My friends say" and also stating the obvious things , like sunsets, walks on the beach, holding hands, kissing, , etc., etc., etc. Part of the human condition is to like these things.
