There are two sides to this record: Quirky, passionate and full of celebration for most everything. And, contemplative and looking to gain insight to become a better person...to understand myself and the world better.
I often burst into song while doing the mundane. Not broadway tunes, mind you...more like danny elfman meets sesame street. It's usually when I'm alone, but if you can harmonize, then we could really have some fun. Oh, and I love to whistle...even if the birds think it's unnecessary competition. ...but not that whistling guy who'll never shut up. No, not him. Kind of like the perfect amount of whistling, really.
I'd wither without humor, and i may be prone to mild mischief to make sure things stay fun. I can't remember a joke to save my life, but I have a curious take on the world around me. (And cue the music... Right. Nothing funnier than a guy stating how funny he is.)
I'm mischievous but attentive. I am confident, but it is with a quiet humility. I love this life and have worked hard to be able to enjoy it as much as possible. I can plug into most any social situation and gain the attention of a crowd, but I'm really looking for an audience of one. Things have been great, and while I've already done some pretty cool things, I'm sure there's much more. I figure if I'm not actively saving the world, then I can at least do as much as possible for the people in my life. Like making killer omelets.
My background is in art and animation and leans heavily toward the creative. I've embraced a love of brilliant color and am surrounding myself in it. I love to make different types of music and play a range of instruments from the ukelele to a mini Olvera Street accordion to the upright bass...enjoy being active...love to cook...and live to create...from photography to music to landscaping. Making people feel good is also a passion of mine, and I've reached a point of balance where I don't need someone to make me feel good...but it's pretty darn nice.

This has been a busy year of change. I left my high profile corporate job in Germany to become a business owner. Moved back to NYC to hang with friends and family for 8 months while I waited for my non-compete to expire. Moved to Portland as CEO of a small clothing brand that I own part of and set a course to help build the brand. Moving to LA as part of that plan: That should be the last move for a while.
So enough about all my moving, here is a little about me:
A life time ago I was a pro snowboarder but I am still pretty good and love to ride. love tennis and golf. I take lots of pictures and post online too much. I was a paid photographer and still like film. I have a fix gear bike, but also a real bike with gears and brakes, wear a helmut and even ride in spandex (when on long rides). When I am in NYC I take the train but find it hard to go above 23rd. I feel lucky to work with my friends, making things we like and make a good living doing it . I "clean up well" but most the time wear jeans and sneakers. I left home at 14, worked on a horse ranch, have lived in 4 countries, worked for some great brands and still live for the journey.
Like most people, I can't really write about myself or what I am are looking for in a few short lines; so here is an abridged version of some points that might spark an interest in getting to know each other:
I am fun, outgoing, in shape, easy going,down to earth, professional, loves good music, great food, fashion, design and sports. Likes going to the theater, gallery openings, shooting photos or most any art form. Creativity is a big part of my life both professionally and personally. Enjoys the night life, equally happy chilling to spend the night on the sofa with a glass wine. Love the the city but needs to get away to nature.
Being passionate about the things in my life is what gives me the most joy.

I am sure that you have already found this numerous times in all the other profiles. I believe that actions speak much louder than words, so why bother? So, why not start with some bad stuff – I am impulsive and impatient at times, I cried like a woman when I watched “Notebook,” I cuss too often, and stay up way too late way too often.
