Date someone special from United States. I make every effort to be easy going, good natured and down to earth. I luv’ the outdoors, nature and all animals, big and small. I lead a simple life and have nothing fancy to offer and seek none in return! If you’re a gal’ independent by nature, slender, active, adventurous; can take the initiative, is low maintenance and can tuck her hair under a cap and be ready to go hot, cold, rain or shine; and have a sense of humor doing it; I’d luv’ your company!
I look for the humorous side of life not the dark, and would rather have a laugh and joke than be drawn into the cynicism that permeates life today! I enjoy rock-n-roll oldies, country western music and more. When I’m out in the outback I only want to hear the…sound of silence!
I enjoy good intellectual conversation; exchange of ideas, opinions, so long as one can agree to disagree and let it be if viewpoints clash? If you value your politics, an ideology, or theology above…friendship; let’s not waste each others time!
I live in and luv’ the country; I was city bound by work for too many years and have no intention to return; that’s the only concession I cannot make…it would kill me! A ranch, farm, being around animals, a mountain top cabin, even a cottage by the sea, would work for me! I’m 68 and probably look it, but don’t think, feel, or act it! Don’t have deep pockets and what pocket change I have, I have to consider on what, where and how I’m gonna spend it? But that’s not to say I don’t have a buck to share or put in the gas tank!
I’ve travelled a great deal but there’s more to see and I’m ready to start over. Having said that; I’d still luv’ to, but I can’t travel internationally by air anymore on account of my dog Toby. I’ll travel anywhere on the North American Continent that wheels, a boat, or shanks-pony will take us!
On my home ground I spend my time exploring and 4-wheeling the Eastern Sierra and high deserts of California-Nevada; day hiking and wilderness camping!
Looking for that lady who could share and appreciate outdoor life; along with magnificent scenery, solitude, serenity and excitement of stumbling on remnants of our Western history few get to see. Traveling the USA may seem mundane compared to exotic foreign shores, but the back-roads of this country can match anywhere for interest and adventure.
Enjoy small town museums, street fairs, classic/hot rod car shows, music in the park; yep, even garage sales! You name it, we’d probably do it? When I’m not travelling I’m remodeling and redecorating my new (old) home in Big Pine.
Not looking for or expecting any immediate full time commitment; but not looking for new company every weekend either. I would just like to share the company of that one reliable hopefully long term, friend, and perhaps a co-share travelling companion. If it should work out and/or develop beyond that…let the cards fall where they may?
Family is important. I no longer have any living family…but my dog Toby.
Two qualities I set the most store by; up-front honesty, and…sincerity! Which starts with “why” you are looking for a mans company?
If you’re just looking for some accommodating, no-life-of-his-own…old geezer to hang on your arm to make you more socially presentable and acceptable; or…just to take advantage of…double-occupancy Princess Cruise fares; then I’m not your fella!
But…if you “really mean” what is in your Profiles; and…are that active, energetic, slender/average lady; emotionally unencumbered; financially independent; free to travel anytime kind of gal’ who is really adaptable and truly sincere in…sharing and share alike; then I hope you are still out there and we will meet; I’d luv’ your company!
