Date single man from California, United States. OK, now I want an I phone. Saw the ad. I could ask my Iphone what my day looked like, and it could say "Another busy day today Karen!". Cool. My name's not Karen, but more than my phone does. It's like a baby before it starts to talk. Good at phone calls though.
Looking for unusual, genuine, smart, elegant, adventuresome and attractive. Why not shoot high? Improbable unpredictable chemistry? The Sierra high route (loved the book). Sailing. Travel, Asia. Reading. Music. Probably in reverse order. Irreverence. Economics. Education. Walking out the door and thinking "that's so amazing, and right outside".
I’ve had a lot of variety in my life. I went to Antioch and Hunter College (CCNY), SF State, was a programmer back in the day. worked on a drill rig on an island off the coast of British Columbia, traveled and moved around a lot when I was younger. Traveled less after I had kids, more in the future. Bhutan? Did of other things. I have been an entrepreneur and investor (on one scale or another, not so good at working for other's) much of my working life; now I am financially secure and semi-retired, or enjoying work more, or something.
Often found in jeans. Tend not to be categorized in match categories very well. Yoshi's, bluegrass, blues, rock, symphony etc. I like good restaurants. I like socializing and parties, but kind of low key about it. I’m happy with my life and I don’t get upset about things. I'm really fortunate in having great kids with whom I have close friendships. I have practiced zen meditation since I was 18, in a relaxed fashion, but am genetically an Irish Catholic. My friend Greg just got transmitted. References upon request. I'm low maintenance but would love to have the company of a charming and intellectually vibrant woman. So, glass of wine after work, cup of coffee during the day or whatever? Take a look? I remember fondly when I was young, and love would happen spontaneously, just walking around. The invention of the microwave was a wonderful thing, but in some other ways I long for the simpler world of my youth. Those days are gone, but life keeps getting richer and more fun. Mostly want to fall in love (I know, but I still do).
Casual, well educated and thoughtful. Academic interests, but not employed as an academic. I live in the woods surrounded by park. 20,000 acre back yard. Anyway, we all can get up each day, look around, and say "ah, another day in paradise". Phone disclosure; I'm not into at chatting on the phone unless it's work. Let's email or, better, chat over a cup or glass of something. Damn, it's hard to get this stuff into the little wire that goes between my computer & yours.
Love to talk to you. Hey they need more choices, or better yet, let us fill in our own answers. Their lists of choices leave something to be desired. Also we need lots more room for books read. Life? What's up on this planet? Makes me consider checking out facebook, but not so far.
Meet a man from California, United States. Tall, British, physically fit, most people say I look younger than my actual age, trying hard to make sense of life, fiercely intelligent and intellectual, not very American, would prefer to be at home in UK, write history, involved in cycling, work on houses and am a good carpenter, often feel alone though I seem to have many friends.....want to be in a relationship, but great, available women are hard to find.
