I always looked forward to living in a nicer climate. I"ve been living here in the greatest climate in the U.S. since 97. As an only child, I"ve always been very independent. I left home upon graduation at 17 to join the Marine Corps. It didn't take long to figure out that I was getting out of The Marines at 21 to go to college.: ) One of my greatest military benefits was being able to visit about twenty different countries.I learned as much from that as I did with college. You can have all the book knowledge in the world, but if you dont get along with different types of people....you'll be at a disadvantage. My parents have been married for 55 years, so family stability is important to me. I'm an extrovert by nature who can strike up a conversation with anyone about any subject. One of my favorite subjects is music. I've played trumpet, drums, and spent a portion of my life as a DJ. I love seeing live bands and I go to The Coachella Music Festival every year. I have a great sense of humor and I'm quick on my feet.. My friends once dared me to go on stage at a comedy club we were at for an "open mike" contest. My joke took first...and it wasn't very clean. : ) I'm very neat, organized, and disciplined. Whenever people see my condo, they wrongly assume I must have a maid. Most mornings I'm at the gym by 5am doing some combination of weights, spinning, running, and stairmaster. I also started yoga last year and fell in love with it. If only I could get as flexable as the girls. I"m very prompt and never flake on people. I'm always early when meeting friends. In fact, they joke that I'm late when I arrive on time. I'm kind, loyal, honest, and straight forward. I love new experiences and trying new things....though I don't see myself jumping out of a plane anytime soon.
