Date a man from Redwood City, United States. I read on one profile where this is pretty much like catalog dating and the question was.."how can you make a decision about someone from their laundry list of likes and dislikes?....."loves the outdoors"..."loves to laugh"...."loves travel", etc. But then, I suppose you wouldn't necessarily want someone who writes "gets cranky with drivers that don't merge with the speed of traffic" or "sometimes spends more money than they should".LOL
So, here goes...my catalog list....loves the outdoors (really)....especially anything on the water....I have a good sense of humor, fond of animals and dig technology and how it helps and screws up our lives. Also love movies, TV, lobster, hats, woodworking, anything science fiction, and the list goes on.
A word about fitness: Fitness is important to me. Good fitness opens up more things in life. I'm in pretty good shape but a couple of injuries and just life in general have added to my belly over the last couple of years.. It's a work in progress.
OK, enough about me...
You are funny, sexy, serious, bright, outgoing, etc. You're strong...you can get me off the couch to go do something but are ok to sometimes just join me there. You have baggage, just like the rest of us...As long as it fits in the overhead compartment, I'm good with it.
I love kids. If you got 'em, great. If you want 'em, great. If you don't, great.
I suppose there's a lot more...why don't we save it for our first conversations.
Oh, PS: About the age thing...I never did like that you had to have a cut-off for age so, if you're a little under or a little over and think we might be a match, let's talk. (Match should add an "-ish" option to the ages)
Meet a soulmate from Redwood City, United States. I am not interested in superficial relationships - true friends or a committed relationship, so if you're looking for a friend that might turn into something more that's great! I'm a down-to-earth guy who wants spend time with a special woman, creating special moments as well as sharing the day-to-day aspects of life. Establishing a great friendship first is important and after that I prefer to focus on one person romantically see where our relationship goes.
The type of woman I'm with is more important than any specific interests we might share initially or develop together. I'm looking for someone who is happy, honest, loyal, passionate and affectionate, sharp and humorous and down-to-earth... someone who is open to changes life brings us together. I'm not interested in traditional gender roles and want us to figure out what is right for us at the time.
I'm slender, fit and healthy, and successful in my career. No mind games please - I'm an open book so "what you see is what you get." I value honesty and openness. When in a relationship I'm passionate and affectionate both emotionally and physically. Adventure and excitement are important parts of a fulfilling life, but I also appreciate stability as a “home base.”
I'm in High Tech but I don't like technology to clutter my life. My job can be demanding at times but I don’t let it consume me. I'm an ex-musician, which is how I got into electronics and engineering in the first place, so I do have an artistic side :).
Some favorite things: socialize with friends, hiking and running, eating good food, spending time at the beach, spending time in Tahoe, going to Napa/Sonoma and enjoying nice wine. I love well-brewed iced tea - my beverage of choice most of the time. In any case, I usually prefer cozy/quaint to loud and crazy. I would like to travel more, but don't really like to that on my own. My musical tastes very depending on mood and setting, but I usually put on some sort of rock if it’s only me listening.
People often think I'm younger than I am - 32 to 35 is a often guess, thanks. A lot of friends end up calling me "Scotty" and I don't know why - some have said it just fits. I don't mind though... it goes all the way back to High School too.
Laughing is always good... intentionally or not ;).
I’m looking for a long term monogamous relationship, so please, if you’re a serial internet dater I’m definitely not the man for you.
Thanks for reading my profile - if you're interested please let me know!
Date someone special from Redwood City, United States. I feel a lot of love I can give to the right person.. I would like to start a friendly relationship with someone special.. Meet single man from Redwood City, United States. About me? Friends would describe me as handsome, often "he's cute", and having a good sense of humor. Professionally, I am pretty conservative yet creative; and although I love what I do, I really enjoy being outside having fun. My children are first and foremost; my time with them primary; so a woman with children does matter. I love the outdoors - playing sports and being active is a big part of who I am: tennis, hiking, swimming, skiing...etc.; ah yes, and quiet time is also essential - I enjoy peaceful meditation and yoga-love it, very rujuvinating.
Relationship-wise? I like all kinds of people but probably most attracted to independent women who do not play games. Searching for an open and honest match who will want to connect on many different levels: intellectually, spiritually, physically, sensually. I am traditionally attracted to athletic or sporty women who like the outdoors and have a strong sense of their spirituality. In sum, someone who also wants to enjoy life, family, and have fun doing it.
Date a man from California, United States. Hello Ladies, I have a great sense of humor and quick wit to make us laugh. Oh yes I do laugh at myself too. Life's too short to be all serious about it all the time. I've had a pretty amazing life so far and have tons of stories. I've been married so I'm even house broken!
I like to get out and enjoy life and see the world but it's always more fun to do it all with 2 sets of eyes.
Looking for a luv that is easy going (no nags pls), open minded, loves to laugh, travel, food, conversations and must love dogs. It'd be really great if your baggage is small enough to fit in the overhead compartment. Ok your move - send me a short note and we can take it from there. Sorry no pic no reply.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. What to say about me? I am an honest, caring, and open minded guy. I am the type of guy who will hold the door open for you--man, woman, or child. I have been know to hold the door for what seems like minutes at a time, waiting for someone who will take over my place--I just can't seem to let the door go when someone else is approacing. I am a proud father of two children, whom I have with me 50% of the time. My family and friends are the most important things in my life. I enjoy being outdoors. Lately, it is mostly running and walking the dog, but I love biking and have always enjoyed hiking. I have always like to fix and build things. I like to cook, but would never claim to be a chef. I enjoy all kinds of food. I enjoy movies--the kids and I are fairly frequent visitors to the theater. I enjoy trying new things, when I get the chance. I am a software engineer by trade. I truly enjoy the challenges--there is a constant supply of mind puzzles to solve. It can be a somewhat consuming career, especially since I currently work in the video game industry; but I strive to keep it from ruling my life. Besides family and friends, music would have to be the most important thing in my life. I love almost all forms and eras of music. It has always been my desire to be able to perform; but, alas, I do not seem to have the knack. I still try to dabble in it from time to time, but I generally have to settle for listening. I have always been painfully shy, so it can take a little time for relax and open up. Please be patient.
Now, who am I looking for? I would like to find an intelligent and open-minded woman. Someone to share the wonderful--and not so wonderful--things in life. Of course we all want someone who is honest and caring. That goes without saying, but I said it anyway. Also, as has been known to be said, patience is a virtue.
I apologize for the lack of photos. I have always been the person taking the picture; and, try as I might, I cannot seem to take a picture of myself that I like.
A note on being currently separated. The divorce is in progress and due to be final in September 2012.
Thanks for visiting.
