Date a woman from United States. A word about geography. I am on the peninsula 3 days a week, and frequently drive to SF. My house has ocean views, easy access to redwood trails, and makes a wonderful weekend retreat. And I am not wedded to living here in the long term.

People typically think I'm about 10 years younger than I am, and I think it's partly because I can be playful and irreverent, and have very youthful energy in body and spirit. I'm very fit with a bias towards outdoor exercise: I like to hike, run trails, x-c ski, swim, bike, backpack, snowshoe, play tennis, practice yoga, iceskate, and ride horses. It'll be a great fit if you are athletic, happy to hit the trail for a 10-mile hike or mountain bike up a steepish climb, and enjoy being in nature, camping, roughing it a bit. I also delight in spending time in cosmopolitan cities like London, Paris, and Barcelona, and taking in the "highbrow" culture that goes along with that. I guess I'm pretty versatile!
I prize intimacy and sharing myself fully with another, and creating the trust and safety to allow each of us to be vulnerable, and give us space to grow. I recently moved from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to pursue a travel nursing career while exploring coastal California. Drove across the country with my beautiful kitties. Dolce and Marbles, two of the coolest cats I have ever known. I'm definitely a cat person, but dogs are really special, too. I love to watch them play on the beach. I'm also amazed by dolphins. I recently swam with dolphins in the wild while snorkeling in Hawaii. My encounter with those intelligent creatures as they swam playfully all around me was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. I want to go back to Hawaii and do it again. I would also like to explore Europe, Morocco, Costa Rica and more. I love to travel.

Blue...Baby, Navy, Periwinkle, French, Mediterranean, and Rosemary Beach on the Florida Panhandle BLUE. Sometimes gray is my favorite color...Taupe, Oyster and Mushroom. Black and White. (What is it about black velvet and white cotton?) I am always intrigued by the creative names of colors on those swatches at the paint store. Someday I plan to take up painting. My inner artist wants to come out and play.
I have a beautiful son, a 26 year old artist who lives in Arcata (Humboldt). He is an amazing young man and truly the brightest light in my life. I have learned so much from being a single mother and I'm filled with gratitude every time I think of him and what a special person he has grown to be.
