Date a soulmate from United States. Well, I think the internet is a better place to meet single women than any night club or bar scene. Maybe the internet can make my dream come true. I am a single professional male, strong, athletic, passionate, Christian, Family-oriented man. Honesty, Faith and a sense of humor are most important. I love to travel, exercise-weights,run,bike,kayak,climb,hike,dance, any sport-played. Love music, theatre, movies, dinning, and Nature. I like animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. I am looking for a woman who share's similar interest's and values. I am an easy going man who very rarely gets stressed and lives a life directed by Our Maker. I am looking to find my best friend and hope it will turn into something heavenly. I am looking for a woman who loves God and is the following: Christian, Athletic, Loving, Honest, Sense of Humor, Intelligent, who Loves the Outdoors and is also comfortable at home. She is also family-oriented. I believe if we do connect and a relationship is developed it is because spirtually God is working in our lives. I also believe that a physical and mental attraction needs to be there as well. As a hobby;I would love to start playing the drums. I love rmusic, along with sports and sporting events. I work for the Federal government and I love my job. Not too many people can say that in today's world.
I have never been married but had 2 relationships in my life that were heading in that direction (3 strikes and your out). One woman left because she got jitters. My job took me to the Bay Area 4 years ago and the 2nd woman couldn't deal with the stress of me being 2,800 miles away (I have a house in Florida). I am batting in the bottom of the ninth and have 2 strikes against me but know I can win it for the home team!
I believe in fate. I am comfortable to live a single life for the rest of my life but I am confident that with my woman by my side we can be better people and witnesses in this world.
Meet someone special from United States. Loving and being loved, children, family, close friends, good times. These are the important things in life.
I have a pretty high, positive energy. I love to smile and do it often: beauty, humor, irony, wit - all good smile material. When I try for something but it just isn't happening, I like to repeat a Wayne Gretzky quote my neighbor once told me, "you miss 100% of the shots that you don't take."
I'm passionate about my children, connecting with people, playing music, keeping fit and trying to do good in the world. I am very lucky to love my work - I mix craft brewing with farm to table food. I need challenges and am constantly learning. I am most at peace when I'm in out in the woods, back packing appreciating natural beauty. I appreciate the ancient, the wise and how little we truly know. I must travel. I swim, bike and run every week. Physical activity grounds me. I'm always reading a book, and if I could magically be anything, it'd be a great writer.
I work hard, play hard and am engaged in life. As an immigration attorney, I won a couple precedent setting cases. I liked helping people. But I left that to open what has become a successful organic brewery-restaurant. I very much believe in sustainable living and bring that to my business. I lived in Madrid for a couple of years after college - learned more about history, culture, how others see the States and best of all fluent Spanish - the richest experience of my life (aside from having kids!). Some people think that with my "success" and confidence that I'm all strength, but I am very sensitive - maybe a bit too much. At the end of the day, I need as much love as I give.
I'd love to find a person who loves life, has a great sense of humor and has the confidence and genuineness to play no games. Kindness, I want kindness. Honesty, integrity and constant, extensive communication are essential qualities to keep things going. I want to love and be loved passionately. If I can breathe in my partner, if you like to kiss - well . . . that says a lot.
Date a man from United States. Single dad with a little more time for myself. Would like to find someone to share the things I like to do... Movies, live music, performing arts, going out, but not all the time...obviously if I met someone and we clicked, the everyday, normal, mundane things that we all do would be just as great...I think it's what makes the best memories in life actually.
I like to workout at the gym, but also enjoy being outside when it's warm-- running, hanging out, tennis, people watching, walking around. There's a lot of stuff to do especially if you have a partner.
The kind of work I've done has never been 9 to 5, but I enjoy it still.
I think I am thoughtful, young in attitude and appearance, and can get a little excited sometimes about certain things. I like to read; enjoy ESPN/Sports of course-Giants and baseball mostly. HBO and Comedy Central. I like most all movies, but enjoy more independents, docs, and foreign... yep Netflix and Redbox.
Most recently I am really enjoying seeing live music in many of the small clubs in the city and Oakland. Every week there's something, which is nice. Now just need more friends to go with.
I guess I still have a pretty strong connection to two places- Hawaii, where I grew up and just left again... and the Bay Area, where I am back and loving it.
Meet people from United States. never give up, never pull a punch, be real, be honest, don't waste, don"t be crazy, enjoy the sun, go outside, never be bored, sleep is overrated, eat early, enjoy a movie, watch a ballgame, be clean and handle your business
Date single man from United States. Scrambling to remake the second half of my life. I love my job, but it's very demanding and I work a lot. I was married for 27 years and didn't date much before that, so I'm pretty unsure of myself in the whole dating scene. I have lots of female friends and they all think I'm a nice guy. I'm in decent shape and I'm not bad looking. I'm smart and quirky. I keep up with politics and social movements but I don't really keep up with the latest trends in TV, music or fashion.
I create games for a living, and I think playing is an important part of being human. I'm quiet and shy around new people, but playful and funny once you get to know me.
I care about people individually and collectively. I care about social justice and disaster relief.
I have never met a person that I didn't like.
I love Shakespeare flicks. I love Dylan songs.
I love road trips. I love the great outdoors.
I love Minnesota.
My ancestors came from Sweden, Norway, Germany and Scotland.
I am scatterbrained. I forget names and my attention wanders. I'm never thoughtless but often forgetful.
Meet men and women from United States. Hi!, just moved to the Bay Area and am looking to meet someone who likes the outdoors, music, art, cooking, and fun! I like sailing, playing and seeing live music, cooking wonderful meals, a good book, love the DeYoung and Cal Academy, hiking, biking, exploring and traveling as often as I can, paddling my kayak, and just getting out there and enjoying life!
Date someone special from Alameda, United States. I’m warm and caring and I’m multi-cultural, well traveled and internationally oriented – my tastes tend to run to the "exotic" - South America, Africa, and India over the "refined" Europe (though I love Spain, Italy and Greece). I love to hike, bike, and dance, especially salsa – (although I’m never going to make it on dancing with the stars, I'm not bad for a white girl). Global though I am, I tend to like small towns, small hole-in-the-wall restaurants, smaller more intimate places to dance - I definitely prefer off the beaten track with a lot of heart over the most popular and upscale.
I’m the founder of a national nonprofit that’s made a big difference in the education arena. For the last 7 years I’ve had good work/life balance – and that’s something I really value, I’ve learned to be as well as do, I focus on expressing gratitude and my love for others. I have an even keel and optimistic outlook, and I live my life with integrity and with intention. My friends will tell you that they admire the work of my organization, that I’m a lot of fun to go out with, that I have a happy positive outlook, and that I'm super-dependable. An example of living my life with intention is I've decided to buy only food and necessities for 3 months, a consumerism diet, after reading Soul of Money by Lynn Twist.
I’m great with kids to the amazement of my friends – as I didn’t choose that path – and I’ve been a junior mom for the past 10 years or so to an amazing young woman (from Nigeria) and now a junior grand mom to her son.
I go out often to hear live music (Latin, African, jazz), to film festivals, to plays. I love the outdoors: hiking, walking by the water, easy biking, swimming, relaxing on the beach. I have 2 vacations planned for 2012 so far, a week in Monterey, where I rent a house with friends annually and we go to the Jazz festival – and 10 days in St. Lucia for the international jazz festival there! (Just returned from St. Lucia - it was great!). I’d love to go to Madagascar or Cuba, care to join me?
I lead a healthy lifestyle, work weekly with a personal trainer, love to cook healthy meals (and occasionally non-healthy ones), and I enjoy keeping a nice home. Just cooked an avocado soup with chicken and lime (and jalapenos) for dinner.
My *Love Philosophy* is the best way to receive what you need in a relationship is to give it to your partner. ItРІР‚в„ўs amazing how it will come back to you. Love is about appreciation and giving to your partner. Relationships grow with care, time and attention. Chemistry is critical, however itРІР‚в„ўs love that will sustain chemistry.
My guy: We laugh together easily and are light even though we are serious people. We are international citizens and love to travel together. He is a planner, organized, logical - yet is fun, happy and knows how to let go. He loves going out and staying home. He values relationships and know they require time and attention. We enjoy cooking and entertaining together. He’s great with directions (I’m terrible at navigation) and happily does all the driving. He is successful at whatever it is he has chosen for his professional path and he's financially secure. He likely has grown children and doesn’t want any more. We have many interests in common and are willing to take on new ones to enhance our lives with each other. Experience tells me that the person matters more than the interests – since we can always share new ones
If youРІР‚в„ўre interested IРІР‚в„ўd love to hear from you, tell me what in my profile made you decide to write me. IРІР‚в„ўm looking forward to hearing from you!
PS My primary love language is Quality Time, second is Touch, what's yours? (see Dr. Gary Chapman's website).
Meet people from Alameda, United States. I've lived a very interesting life up to this point. I've been very lucky in many ways. I have known love, passion, joy and adventure. Many things in life are fleeting. I've been an educator, a retaurant owner, a car salesperson, a real estate broker a property manager and a child advocate. I know I have the most important things; great kids, loving family and friends and a sense of humor.
Volunteering and travel are two great passion of mine.
I am hoping to find a like mindied mate. Someone to travel with and discover the wonders of the world. I would like to find a kind man without a huge ego and who can laugh at himself. Someone who does not have to win all the time or be right.
Someone to have aventures with, discuss politics, laugh out loud. help others. and enjoy what lies ahead.
