Meet men and women from California, United States. So I'm back,a few years older for sure ,wiser? We'll see. I have figured what I would love to find here and in theory it's quite simple. I want to be in love again.Ten years ago I, through no fault of my own fell head over heels in love. It was intoxicating, I started writing again and felt so alive. It didn't work out but I want that feeling again.A tall order I know but you never know when it's going to happen. After all that is why most of us are here isn't it?
So here's a few things about me maybe you'll want to know. When I'm alone in my truck I still play my music loud.It's usually classic rock and Bruce Springsteen,especialy before the river is a favorite.The Michial Stanley band,A northern Ohio thing,is another favorite.When fishing is good I love to share my catch and I cook a pretty good fish.If I could I would live my life barefoot. I am diabetic but it's controlled without shots. I very rarely buy prewritten greeting cards. Instead I prefer to write my own,much more fun.I've lived here 30 years but I'm still a country boy at heart.I am a craftsman and take pride in my work and ask the same of my employees.I'm a dinosaur with electronics.I can email and thats about it with a computer.
I'm very much an outdoor kind of guy.I will go out in any weather and I love storms.The weather here in so-cal is great but it gets boring.Give me a good thunderstorm every now and then and I'll be happy.I am at my happiest when I am near open water.For the first time in my life I can see the ocean from my apartment and I absolutly love that.I have some unbelievable pictures I've taken from my balcony.I am a fisherman so if you like fresh fish you're in luck.If you look at my pictures you might think that all I do is fish but actually it just seems that the only time anyone takes my picture I have a fish in my hand.As much as I love the outdoors,I am house trained and I do clean up o.k.although jeans and a button down shirt is about as dressed up as I like to get.I'm definatly not a suit and tie sort of guy.
I love snorkling at Catalina and that is an eye opening experiance.I've jumped off my boat and swam with wild dolphins as well as swimming with Sea Worlds dolphins.Both were amazing experiances that I will repeat given the opportunity.There's a lot of indoor things I like to do too just in case you were wondering.I like shooting pool or throwing darts in a nice pub or going out to a great resturaunt.Some the best food can be had in little out of the way places.I've been able to see some of my favorite bands in small clubs and I love live music of most any kind except rap.Jimmy buffet shows are a blast.Nothing like some parrothead madness to improve your outlook.I still haven't found my one particular harbor but two harbors on catalina comes close.Movies are always fun too.
I'm an outside of the box sort of thinker which helps me in business quite a bit but it makes me a little different but I think a little different is a good thing.The girl I'm looking for is probably a little different too,at least I hope she is but you never really know.I dont have any preconcieved notions about what she looks like or does for a living or even does for fun.That having been said,if I am being honest here,nothing will turn me into an idiot faster than red hair.Of course there are probably people out there who will tell you that idiot isn't too long a trip for me anyway but we don't listen to them.I really want to meet someone who isn't afraid to be themselves and isn't afraid to be happy.I enjoy people with great imaginations.Someone who can inspire me.And yes at times I love a loud hawiian shirt.I discovered Yosemiti a couple years ago,amazing,I saw my first bear,he was a golden bear and of course my big camera went dead,still amazing!!! I have a little fishing boat that I don't get to use enough.

It's when you just can't stop looking at each other, drinking deeply in each other's eyes. When before you know it you are in each other's arms transported by a soul stirring kiss. There are some things I'd like to do and share with you. I love the water and want to stay in Laguna Beach soon. I want to visit the Northern California Coast and see the Redwoods. And visit Yosemite too. If you play music it would be great to do that together, or maybe both explore a new hobby.
I like to explore, learn, and grow. I love to read, to talk, and to listen. I have a 14 year old daughter that I adore. We share books, music, film, and our lives. She is building her own life and giving me more time to pursue mine.

I enjoy the simple things in life...spending time with family and friends. Things I like to do are Travel (NY, Italy, London,Canada, Mexico..etc), River, Movies, Dancing, Concerts, Comedy Clubs, etc..normal stuff. Date a soulmate from California, United States. I have a lot of various interests. I enjoy being outdoors in the sun but I also like rainy days and a nice fire. I'm physically fit and work out regularly because I really, really like food and want to live into my golden years healthy and active.
I like watching sports (especially the Denver Broncos even when they are lousy) but my interest in sports is not an addiction! I particularly enjoy going to Dodger and Angel games when the weather is nice (mmmm….Dodger Dogs!).
I enjoy trying different types of food as long as it's not liver or fishy fish. I enjoy going to the movies although I haven't been to as many as I would like. I really love animals. I have a 10 year old cat and a newly adopted 9 year old Maltese mix.

I don't think the grass is greener, but wonder if the love of my life is out there. I live in the same city I grew up in, but have been to four or five other countries. Travel is nice, however I love coming home. I do okay alone, but at this time of my life, I miss a cuddle buddy, a partner that could worship me, and I him.
I'm at a point in life where I question so many things in regards to happiness and settling. Status quo or put yourself out there? I love animals and being outside, but go for days without really enjoying these things. Now and then, walking from home to car, car to building, I stop long enough to look up and really see the beautiful blue sky above me and think, soon, I'm gonna enjoy this with someone. Having been married once and ending badly, I've been adverse to the idea of marriage. Not so much anymore. I love the idea of the commitment of lovers. Not that I'd jump right in to it, no way. I feel that in today's society, too much emphasis is put on the look of the package, and not whats inside. Of course what the package looks like is important, very important but it shouldn't consume us to the point of dismissing someone before you really get to know them. There's so much more than just a pretty face. I always remember the saying, "No matter how good someone looks, someone, somewhere can't stand the sight of them". Something like that.

Many of my closest friends say that I'm a very nice, caring, giving and sweet person which suprises me which I think it's because I'm too hard on myself.
