Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Who am I? First of all, I'm divorced without the paperwork (he keeps me on health insurance). Separated since 2004, I have two great kids! I'm compassionate and very passionate about many things, curious by nature and always observant. I enjoy the process of learning about and understanding a person, and deeply cherish my close relationships. I sometimes stay in my head too much thinking and yet I wear my heart on my sleeve. I usually strike a good balance, but that being said, here's my next line...I strive for self improvement, so I always consider myself to be a work in progress! I'm affectionate, touch oriented, and feel hugs and kisses are 'must haves'. I possess a healthy sense of humor that runs on the dry side, so in order to survive my partner should really have one too. Adversity has brought forth an adventurous spirit in me: I've made it thru a few extremes and know there is still a lot out there for me to do and enjoy! I exercise enough to keep me healthy and happy, yet still challenged. I must admit however, that hitting a bucket of golf balls is very therapeutic. I haven't traveled much, not from lack of want, but feel culturally enriched as I grew up in an incredibly diverse community, complete with hippies and hells angels. We used to call our block the United Nations. I would love to spend more time exploring different countries and cultures. Now as far as travel goes, walking or driving, for your benefit and information, please note: I have absolutely NO sense of direction. GPS chip in my brain? Gone. Therefore if you're with me, you'll need to do the driving...and I thank you, not to mention adore you in advance!
I love walking through Redwoods; going to the ballpark; the feel of fall; using my creativity; the sound of rain; cherry blossoms; photography; writing; an array of music; various concerts; and the infectious laughter of my kids! I'm a decent cook - I don't burn water. Love cuddling inside with my sweetie, days spent outdoors, drinking coffee at a cafe, watching people, and enjoying a night out. A good meal is always welcomed and I easily traverse the path from taco truck to a 5 star.
