Date a man from Arkansas, United States. Hmmmm, what to say, what to say. I will be 59 yrs old on the 18th of August. Most folks act slightly shocked when they find out my age. They say I don't look that old. We'll see won't we. I know all the youngsters are holding their fingers in the sign of the cross (lol) to ward off the dirty old man. And well you should.... just kidding. Okay describe myself. I love just about all sports and have played most of them competively at one time or another in my life. Right now I'm mostly learning to hit a small ball in a cow pasture, or golf as most of you call it. I'm absolutely crazy about music and always have been. Mostly 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Am a bit of an expert on the older stuff. I enjoy grilling and smoking a briskett occasionally. I read books like most people watch tv or go to the movies. The books are always better anyway. Learning to play guitar right now, and its a pain in the ass. I can sing but don't have a lot of natural ability when it comes to a musical instrument. I'm pretty easy going about most things, my kids and grandkids think I'm one of the smartest guys around, but actually I've just got a head full of the most trivial and useless bits of info thats only good for jeopardy and trivial pursuit. LOL! What I miss most right now is just being intimate with someone. Its not just about sex either, its the touching, holding, and just "being" with someone over morning coffee, or sharing a dawning or quietly contemplating a glorious sunset. Sheesh... waxing a little too poetic there. Don't get me wrong, having a strong physical relationship with a attractive woman is high on the priority list also. I am honest and yet try to be kind. Anyway thats about all I've got to say right now.

I REALLY don't know what I'm supposed to say here, but none of us are getting any younger.
Evidently something other than what I've been saying in the past, because I don't seem to be interesting to any of you ladies on here. Is it because I'm past 50? Well, age is only a number, as far as I'm concerned. I see a lot of you ladies nearing 50 who are looking for someone 10-15 years younger. Give us "old" guys a try, you might be surprised. After all, when that "younger" guy hits the big 5-0, will HE be looking for someone 10-15 years younger? Interesting thought, isn't it?
Most of my friends think I'm pretty much a down-to-earth person, although I do have a pretty dry sense of humor. I've been compared to "Walter". (Yes, Jeff Dunham's "Walter").
I have both arms, both legs, all of my teeth, although my hair has about given up on me, my photos are recent, and I can carry on a conversation about a subject other than sports.
I can manage a vacuum, washer and dryer, mow grass, do minor home repairs, hang pictures, I know the difference between a phillip's screwdriver and a flat screwdriver, and can even cook, either indoors or out.
I am retired, with no restrictions on where I live, so I would be willing to relocate for the right person.
Some of the things I am looking for are:
Acceptance. I want to be accepted for the unique person I am. At this stage in life the chance of changing another person into the person you want them to be is almost nil, so be willing to accept that person as they are today, or move on and keep searching.
Honesty. I tell it like it is and I expect the same from my companion. When one starts to lie it completely destroys trust.
Trust. I want to trust and to be trusted. I don’t want to have to wonder where you are and what you are doing. I want to be able to trust you enough that I know you would never do anything to hurt me.
Fidelity. Faithfulness and loyalty are a must. Dating around to find the right person is one thing, but when there is an agreement to only see each other, all the rules change. I am a one-woman man and I expect a one-man woman. This is extremely important to me.
Communication. I am a strong believer that a relationship cannot last without communication. Problems should be solved as soon as they begin and not allowed to grow, as they will if they are ignored. Talk about everything that bothers you, no matter how small. If it does not seem to be a big deal to me, but it is to you, then it needs to be addressed. I will expect the same from you.
Sex. Sex is important in any relationship. I would not be happy in a relationship with someone with no interest in sex, therefore it would be foolish of me to get involved with someone that did not enjoy sex.
Love. I want to love someone one with all my heart and soul. The kind of love that makes me do things with you because I love you and would rather be with you than anyone else. The kind of love that makes an eight-hour day seem like months apart. Not temporary infatuation, but lasting effortless unquestionable love. The kind of love, that when you hold each other, you can feel your hearts flowing together and it takes your breath away, even after years of being together.
Compatibility. I would like an outgoing person just like me. A person that enjoys a walk in the woods, watching the sunset on the beach, or just holding hands.
Religion. I believe in God and would hope that my partner believed in him also. I am not concerned with which faith as long as we believe in the same God.
