I'll take a beach and a sunny day over almost anything, and as such, have rarely considered vacationing somewhere cold, but perhaps I could learn to love it! I'm open to try.
Music means a lot to me. I envy people who play instruments, join bands, or anyone who will sing out loud without inhibition. Music is a vehicle to the soul for me, as well as things well written, a good meal, and a nap, to name a few. I also love dance of all kinds and people who like to get down.
I try to keep things simple, I'm not materialistic and gravitate away from materialism and conspicuous consumption. That said, I have my wants and comforts, and I enjoy them quietly and gratefully. Independent but generous, social but intimate, friendly but serious, loyal AND trusting, perfectly capable of handling any problem as it arises, I want to be nurtured in love and treated as if my wishes and dreams actually matter to my significant other. For example, if I feel safer at home with the inside garage door locked, I want my man to run and lock it rather than argue about why there's no need to lock it. That, to me, says I matter to him. When the rent is due, I want my man to put his part on the table before I do rather than my having to ask him for it. When there are meals to prepare, I want my man to offer cook or to help, or at least sit and talk to me even if he really doesn't care what I'm preparing. When there's just a pile of weeds outside instead of landscaping, I want my man to suggest we make it a project to plan a design, however minimal, then take it on together. When there's a good movie in town, I want my man to ask me on a date to see it. When I have a birthday, I want to be remembered on it, if not spoiled rotten.
Please know that I don't mean to be hard on my man. Afterall, I've been told by my friends that all I did when I was married was give all my time, emotions, energy and money to him. By the time we were divorced the wedding wasn't even paid off, which makes sense since I footed the entire bill. I thought we had plenty of time with all of those bills, but after he finally got a decent job, within nine months he came home from work and surprised me completely by telling me he wanted a divorce. Trustful me, I had no idea part of those long work hours were spent on trophy hunting.
Enough on the pitiful profile. I've certainly lost the attention of some by now. A few more points about me. I was born in China and my family and I moved here when I was 15. I started high school and graduate 4 years later. I'm just now going back to college to try to improve my standing in life. I love it and am excited about the places I can go.
Concerning my ideal man, I want someone who is able to cherish me and put me first in spite of the fact that I'm human. What this man needs to know is that he will certainly get the same back from me. I'm capable of no less in love.

. Curious. That's probably the best single word to describe me. I love asking questions. Why? Because. Compassionate, smart, kind, goofy, klutzy, tall, artsy...these are all words that have been used to describe me as well. Verbose, crazy, insomniac, good draw-er, insane, zaftig, insanely curious. There are so many adjectives.
I enjoy photography, museums, thinking, thinking out loud, thinking in tandem, chatting with friends, eating pizza, trying to teach my dog how to play fetch. Games are so last year. Except for Scrabble (which I suck at, by the way). And maybe tossing rocks towards ponds.
