I am a metropolitan girl who loves adventure, but a southern girl at heart and expect a man to be a gentleman. I know that I am blessed beyond belief and live my life accordingly. My hobbies are reading, shopping, exercising, watching sports and napping (there is nothing like a good nap on a rainy day!!).
A random tidbit about me. . . .I love love love NPR...not only do they deliver awesome news, but the reporters and correspondents have THE best names!! Their voices are so smooth .....dang I wish I had a smooth voice like that....LOL. I do have a few guilty pleasure TV shows that I watch....I'll share more details when we meet...:-).
I recently discovered Zumba, which is an awesome workout. I love incorporating Zumba into my normal routine of running and pilates.
I enjoy meeting friends for dinner and drinks....or just drinks...:-).
Finally, I love to travel to fun, exotic and beautiful destinations (my favorite vacation spots are Paris, Napa Valley, Miami, Cancun, Martha's Vineyard, Chicago, New Orleans, St. Lucia, Puerto Rico, San Diego,, Las Vegas and Cabo).
I am looking for a truly good guy that carries himself well and is comfortable in his own skin, mature, kind, supportive, funny, adventurous, fun-loving, sane (yes . . .I said 'sane' . . LOL) and a genuinely good person that can appreciate a woman that is beautiful both inside and out.

. I am very friendly and out going and I always have a smile on my face. Things that make me smile is seeing the people that I love happy. I am grateful for my two beautiful children. I like to go out to dinner, the movies, walks, camping, hang out with family and friends, and I like to go out to dance on occasion.

. I think some of my best qualities are that I am a compassionate and gentle person. Here are a few adjectives my best friend used to describe me: loyal, good heart, great laugh. I have difficulty sharing my feelings and feeling vulnerable. However, life is a work in progress. I am hoping to attract somone who has integrity and some of the more important values as I do. I would like to be with someone who has some of the same interests as I do although I do think time apart or not sharing every free social minute is important for a healthy relationship. My social life currently consists of seeing a movie or going to a concert from time to time. I am always trying to lose weight and get into better shape. I have a carb. weakness that keeps me at the gym. I do enjoy exercising...sometimes it is for the purpose to lose weight and sometime it is for the purpose to maintain. I would love to learn sign language and Braille. I am cyncial about politics, but lean towards the conservative side. I have tried volunteering with children but it would seem I hit a brick wall each time I have tried. I work full-time and training is usually done during the day. I haven't given up, it is something that is on hold for now. I don't cook nor bake much.
