Date a woman from United States. I'm not sure how my closest friends would describe me. I have a big heart and would give you the shirt off my back if you really needed it. My biggest accomplishment in life would be my son. I started out as a single mom for 4 years, got married and divorced, and I am a single mom again. My biggest regreat in life is not finishing college. I wanted to be a dental assistant or a nurse but got frustrated and left. The enconomy is so hard right now and I have a job but not a career. I want to find someone who is loyal, fun to be around and who will complete me. Bring me out of my shell. I am a little bit shy and am not the kind of person who will just strike up a conversation with someone I don't know. As far as kids, my son is 16. I used to want more but I am just not sure anymore. I may be to old to start over. I am a very hard worker and am grateful for life.

A little about my background...I am originally from a small NW suburb of Chicago, but moved to Arizona after my undergrad at U of Iowa to escape the brutal midwest winters. I have a small, but wonderful family back in Chicago that I am very close to. I try to visit them as often as possible, because family is a very special component in my life. I was a teacher for 10 years (6th grade and Junior High Accelerated Algebra), but retired after the birth of my first son.
So that brings me to the present day...I live a pretty hectic life, sometimes with very little time to spare. I am currently in my second year (of 3) of pharmacy school, and I also work full-time in a hospital pharmacy. Most importantly, I have my 2 AMAZING, athletic little boys (4 and 7) that live with me half of the time, that keep me young and constantly on the move! When they are with me, we are always doing something fun and active. We love to swim, play sports (baseball, football, tennis, and golf are among our favorties), ride bikes, go fishing, play Lego Star Wars, and have our epic light saber battles...:)
I know my life probably sounds extremely busy right now (maybe too busy for some people), but it is my life, and I love every minute of it! Regardless of my temporary time limitations, I can and will always find time for the people that are most important to me. So, here I am, looking for that someone special to share my craziness with.
