Meet a soulmate from Alabama, United States. That Well where do I begin? I just reread my profile and decided that I didn't really like it.So here is a new one.....
Live, Love, and Laugh...that sums up the stage that I am at in my life. I want to live my life to the fullest, hopefully with a wonderful gentleman, if not, then I can do it alone. I want to love deeply and passionately the man who can handle me. I want to laugh constantly, I feel that laughter is the best way to calm others. My family and closest friends are already in my life and have my unconditional love,special parts in my life and all the laughter than can handle.So now I am searching for the man who will walk beside me as my partner in this second part of my life.
I have four wonderful children, an awesome daught-n-law, and my perfect little granddaughter. The youngest of my children are my 15 year old twins. They are reaching that point in their lives where I know that they won't be home much anymore. There are so many more things that I want to accomplish i my life, but somtimes think that I may do them alone. It is very hard finding someone that wants something more out of a relationship than, just texting, or emailing. I am old-fashioned and believe that you should be in the physical prescence of someone to really get to kow them. You have to smell them, see them and touch them. I do believe that the sexual chemistry between two people is very important in a relationship, but what about when you turn old and all the looks are gone, will you and your significant other be able to have a meaningful conversation, will you look at them in the morning and thank God he allowed you another chance to see their face, or go to bed at night and pray that you both wake up in the morning. That is what love is, in my opinion, two hearts beating the same beat.
I love the career that I have chosen. Being a teacher is all I ever wanted to do. Many people say that we have the easiest job in the worl, being off holidays and summers. Well that is true but I take what I do very seriously, those little minds are in my hands, and what I teach them, will be with them forever.I taught 5th grade Math, but chose to move to Science, I am very excited about the change.

Street Festivals, historical places, 4-wheeling, fishing, beach, mountains,all music, hiking, riding on the back of a Harley,grilling, movies at home,horseback riding. Just booked a whitewater rafting and ziplining weekend for me and the twins.

Below is what I had as my bio, but I think it's boring and was trying to spice things up a bit as I'm sort of stale with "on-line-looking"... I love to cook, and I enjoy trying new dishes, eclectic taste in music, especially from different cultures, poetry, dancing...I'm very clean and fit conscious. I am big on environmental friendliness, clean air, recycling, and trying to steer clear of toxins. I educate myself on these as well as other facets of green living. Also, I volunteer at the Animal Shelter and try my best to do what I can to help the four-legged.
My friends would probably describe me as having a big heart, independent, honest, energetic, funny, maybe just a nut at times - love to laugh and share intelligent conversation. I'm very independent, but I would love to spend time with someone who is charming, honest, interesting and attractive. "Women" is plural, meaning more than one. I had to put this in my profile so that if by chance you read mine thus far, maybe you will re-check yours. I have seen only one profile where it was spelled correctly which is why I bring up the matter. No offense, but it might matter to some "women." Also in some instances it may appear as though you are looking for a "group thing" versus a conventional relationship. ;)

. Hi! With me, what you see is what you get (although, I have been known to surprise people every now and then-in a good way!). I'm pretty easy going. I love to laugh and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I'm a little shy and a little bold. Trust and honesty go hand-in-hand and both are very important to me. You'll usually find me with a smile on my face. I try and do something new every day. Life is full of firsts-no matter how small they might seem. There are so many things in life to experience. I'm a positive person and look for a way to smile (and make someone else smile!) every day. I try and live every day to the fullest. I know that sounds sort of cliche, but it's the truth. Life is a gift and every day should be treasured. Why wait for a special occasion to celebrate?
I enjoy traveling. My favorite recent first-time trip has been NYC. I've also been to Bar Harbor, Maine and Boston and look forward to going again. I go to Destin at least once a year and though I'm on vacation, I get up to greet the sun with a walk on the beach. You'll usually find me at the pool, on the beach or on the porch of a restaurant with a cold drink enjoying the ocean views and the salty ocean air. I would love to travel outside of the country as well. My top places to visit one day are Italy, Quebec City, and London and Nova Scotia. One day, I want to travel up to the northeast during the fall, rent a convertible and drive through the mountains looking at the changing colors of the leaves and stay at a bed and breakfast. I'd also like to go out to Colorado or Wyoming and take a "working vacation" on a ranch. I think it would be an incredible experience to go horseback riding down trails and spend so much time outdoors. There are so many places to see and things to do!!
I'm a kid at heart. To me, a great date is a day at the amusement park (complete with lots of roller coasters!), playing pool, bowling, or another activity where you can have fun and talk and get to know someone at the same time. I'm not so much a "dinner and a movie" kind of girl. I love trying new restaurants and great conversation, but how much can you learn about someone sitting in silence watching a movie?
I enjoy movies-including old black and white movies (Cary Grant, Bette Davis and Katharine Hepburn are favorites), concerts, theater (especially musicals), gardening, photography, ballroom dancing (swing, fox trot and tango are favorites) and going to Barons and Braves games. I'm also a football fan. I am not originally from Alabama, so Iike Switzerland, I'm neutral. I like to take road trips and stop along the way in small towns and explore. I like going to flea markets and antique shops. You never know what you might find!
I enjoy going out, but I'm also perfectly happy cooking a meal at home and curling up on the couch with a great movie.
My taste in music is pretty diverse. On a road trip home to Georgia to visit family, I'll play anything from Foo Fighters and Aerosmith to a Broadway musical to George Strait and finish up with some Harry Connick, Jr. (my absolute favorite - who I've had the pleasure of chatting with in person on several occasions - nice guy!).
My favorite time of year is fall - the weather is perfect and it's football season. I love to get together with friends at sports bar/restaurant and watch the games. I've never been tailgating, but I hear that tailgating parties in the south are legendary!
