I read all these profiles where men say they are looking for a down to earth woman, who can carry herself well either dressed up or casual in jeans and tennis shoes. Well hello, let me introduce myself! I am extremely down to earth, I am as far from high maintenance as you can get, however donРІР‚в„ўt get me wrong that does not mean that I donРІР‚в„ўt care about my appearance it just means that is not all that I care about. I believe that a connection comes from something within and not the outside wrappings. You could be the most handsome man / beautiful woman on the outside but be extremely ugly on the inside. So I do not judge a book by its cover. However, I would be looking for a spark or a connection to be there. I am not looking for a sugar daddy, a bed buddy, nor do I have daddy issues. I am looking for a partner someone that I could see spending the rest of my life with. Someone of the same values and morals. I do believe in traditional roles (for the most part) I have seen that if the man is the man and the woman is the woman a relationship can go long term. But you also have to have respect for one another, honesty, open communication, affectionate, be willing to bend at times, and never go to bed angry.
I am a single mother of a 10 year old son who is the light of my life and does keep me busy. I am very active in his school and his extracurricular activities. I love my job and am blessed to work for a great company and with wonderful co-workers. I am independent, loyal, loving and have much more love in my heart to give, I like to be affectionate with my partner and show them I care but doing little things for them. I want someone that we enjoy spending time together be it is cooking dinner, however, full disclaimer I am not a world renowned chef but I can cook enough for us not to starve, so if you like to cook you just got brownie points. But I am willing to assist you in the kitchen and if you cook I will clean, staying in watching a movie, hanging out with friends, or curled up on the couch just talking with a glass of wine. It is about the quality of time you spend with one another not what you are doing.
I am turning 40 this year and looking back have realized that I have let some of the best years go by without enjoying them to the fullest due to being super cautious and reserved. So I have decided that I am not going to let anymore of my life pass me by. I am going to live it to its fullest. So I would love someone with a little adventure in their soul. Someone that is willing to go zip lining, go to Oak Mountain and hike, or take a picnic and enjoy a day on the lake in the paddle boats, decide that we want to take a day trip some where and just hop in the car and go.
I do have certain criteria though: I do not have daddy issues so if you are 50 , we will not be a match, if you are currently separated and have no picture that to me says that you do not want someone to see you on here so it leads me to believe you are really still married and I am not a home wrecker. You have to love children, even if you donРІР‚в„ўt have any. I do have a child who lives with me 24/7/365, so eventually if we are a match you would be a part of his life as well. I would want you to treat him like he was yours and love him as such. Just as I would do if you had children. I have recently been raised the question about children. While I am not opposed to having more children I am opposed to having more children with the wrong person. I am raising 1 child on my own and that is hard enough so I do not want to be a single mother of 2. I had never wanted my child to be an only child but that is the hand we were dealt and we make the best of it.
I know this is a tall order but I am positive that there is someone out there that fits this description.
