Date single man from California, United States. I think people probably see me as a little quiet, with a good sense of humor. I try to be productive and positive and not collect bad habits. I like thoughtful people who are kind and considerate. I guess Im hoping to find something authentic and real.
My family have always been my best friends. I have lived in a few different spots and now enjoy my apartment in Santa Cruz.
I like being outside and doing physical acitivities. I wish I had a life that included more traveling. I don't seem to travel as much as I did in my twenties. I have good friends and enjoy being social but I want to meet a nice down to earth woman. Im attracted to women that enjoy being physically active and have solid intellectual interests. A good date would be a low pressure situation, where we could be ourselves and relax.
I hope to meet a woman who, with time, genuinly cares for me and I for her. Honesty is important.
Meet a man from California, United States. I am not going to try and get too creative here because I don't like talking about myself too much and this type of thing is more interesting to discuss in a face to face conversation.
I started drawing at the age of 3 (on the walls of my bedroom much to the frustration of my mother), and decided I was going to be an artist sometime around age 10. I studied Illustration at Art Center College of Design and afterwards taught art, freelanced, did public murals and what-not until I had saved enough money to go traveling on some adventure.
Grew up in Santa Cruz, CA. Love the outdoors, surfing, hiking, and exploring. Traveled around South America a bunch and spent some time living in Brazil.
I speak Spanish and Portugues (what I can still remember).
Enlisted in the Navy for a bit, doing mostly graphic design and later photography work. Spent most of my enlistement on a ship stationed in Japan where I was able to travel extensively throughout Asia.
Currently live in Pacific Grove working as a Webmaster/Photojournalist for the military.
I'm not sure if there is a specific type of person I am looking for, but probably someone more on the "free-spirited" side, creatively inclined and not afraid to get their feet dirty for the sake of a good time.
That said, I try not to pre-judge people and I have often found that the best things in life were things you didn't know you were looking for in the first place.

Meet a soulmate from Santa Cruz, United States.
OK so a few years ago between girlfriends I did a profile on here to just see what was out there in the dating world. I was still of the mindset that online dating was not for me and was just window shopping. Of course they want you to fill out the whole form so you can get a profile. So I put random things down on the about me just to get it up and running, not serious about it at all.
Fast-forward to the present day and a different mindset. With owning my own company it makes dating in the work place not an option. Almost 90% of my friends are now married, so they are sticking with their other married friends. The bar scene is great, unless you want real long-term relationship. So I come back here and go though what’s out there and realized something. These women on here are serious about this process. The bios are long, involved and they’re putting themselves out there to find what they want. I can respect that. I read one bio that made me say, ’Hey she hit the nail on the head, and got it exactly right. That’s what I want to say in my bio too.’ But since it’s been done I’ll leave it were it is, as it is, and just tell my story of how I got here.
Finding out about a person, their hobbies, likes, dislikes and if you have chemistry together is what dating is for. Especially the all-important first date. So I’m leaving all that info out and leaving it for the first date. I’m a private person and not really into hanging up my picture to be pursued over on the net. But I am trying to find that someone, that one. So here I am looking, and doing the pursuing.
Date single man from United States. I'm a bit of an old fashioned romantic. I enjoy drives along the coast, picnics, weekend hikes and camping. I'm easy going, soft spoken, fun and a bit of a wit. I'm looking for someone who's got self confidence, has a streak of mischief and is fun to be with. I like strong intelligent women.
