I spent 9 years in the Royal Dutch Army, so my entire life was centered around discipline and military life, but civilian life is super, especially here in SoCal. I'm pretty much over the whole club/bar scene. I think the advantages of online dating is you put most of your cards on the table and see who picks 'em up and wants to play. I'm not saying finding your love is all a game....you know what I mean. I understand I won't be everyones cup of tea & I'm ok with that, no harm no foul. I'm honestly out there to be just one persons drink of choice....& I'm ok with that too :)
I've taken my bumps & bruises, all coming through with still a positive outlook towards life. We must all remember that it could be a whole lot worse. With that said, I would say I'm the eternal optimist. So cliche, but if life gives you lemons, make lemonade. The glass is always half full. And of course, every gray cloud has a silver lining.
My perfect match would have to be my best friend as well. I've come to the understanding that physical attraction alone has no depth in a relationship. I want to be able to cruise to Vegas with you, with the radio off & us talking the whole drive away. If we can do that, then we're definately in wonderful shape. I have my mind set on the long run at this point in life & as I said earlier, though physical attraction on both sides is the initial icebreaker which will get the ball rolling, personality & character will determine the rest. Pessimism will be the deal breaker.

My favorite movie is "Chungking Express." I dig 85 degrees' sea salt coffee. Marche Moderne for lunch please. American Apparel t-shirts are way too comfortable. I would kill for macaroons (the French kind).
