I am an active, driven guy but I think I fall somewhere in the middle of Type A and Type B. I am super busy at times and other times can really appreciate just relaxing and thinking about what I will do next.
Here are some things that I like to do so you get an idea of what to buy me for Christmas. ;-)
...I like snowbaording, , playing volleyball, working out, spending time with my kids, doing projects around my house, going for bike rides, Rivercats games downtown, seeing live bands, dancing, all kinds of music, people watching, good movies (who wants to watch bad movies, right??), comedy clubs and many other things, but you get the idea.

I think there should be an attraction (both ways of course!) but even before that let me say that personality and conversation are what really matters in the end. if you can't talk, laugh and have fun together then it just won't last.
I like someone that is driven and has goals in life. I'm looking for someone that likes to stay active but is also happy watching a movie and relaxing too.

Date someone special from Rancho Cordova, United States. Having a good day? So I'm suppose to say something interesting about myself and get your attention. Well how about a laugh or maybe not. I was in the Navy on my first ship and respond to a fire drill. Being a fireman and all. None of the guys in my work shop would get out of the way. So I stepped up and ran over the metal slab in the workshop we use to weld. Well unfortunately I forgot about the curtain rod around it. I ran head first into that and landed flat on my back. A little dazed i got up and ran to the drill. Talk about a good laugh. Well at least the guys in the shop were amused. Hey there are time you just have to laugh at your self and just say oops.
Well sorry about the story hope you got a laugh out of it. I still do sometimes. I like to think of myself as an easy going guy. The only thing I take seriously is work. I enjoy going out with the guys from work and having a beer or two and just relaxing. I like to be at the mountains or the beach. Although the best place I've been to is Australia. The diving is great there. I would like to go back or find another place to dive and see a great white shark. In a cage that is I don't want to become lunch. Plus he last time I went skiing was when the skis were all straight. I also like to spends time riding my bike along the American river when the weathers nice.
What I'm looking for is someone who I connect with. The person I can't wait to call see how their day went and talk about mine. Someone who when I see them or talk with them it makes me smile. I'm not looking to play games. Well maybe some sports, but you know what I mean. Someone who likes to go out as well as stay home. Oh and be able to give me a swift kick in the but when I need it. I'll be the first to say I'm not perfect and sometimes my mouth gets me into trouble. I tell the truth as I see it and some people really don't like to hear it. Oh well.

Meet a soulmate from United States. The hard part... I am the typical "nice guy", usually giving more than taking, but learning how to put that into a balance. I have a crazy, youthful side, but know when to at like a 'grown up' too. I consider myself lucky to know what I am looking for, to be financially independant, with a good head on my shoulders so that I can recognize my life partner when I meet her. I am lucky enough to own my own home and am ready for the next stage in my life to begin. My match would be intelligent, have a great sense of humor, have an independant nature and personality but want to share life's great moments with somebody. My match would need to share my love of nature and the outdoors. If you are a 4-star hotel kind of girl, that's OK (I can appreciate the little luxuries in life too) but I love camping and being outside. Ideally, she would love the mountains and the ocean equally and have her own favorite spots to share. Hopefully, my match would share my love of travel and have done some on her own so that we could compare notes.
I think of myself as an "independant thinker", reserving judgement about life's great decisions until I see all sides... but that doesn't mean I don't have my opinions about things. I mean, come on... isn't there only one correct way to load a dishwasher? Just kidding. My ideal match would have her own opinions, know how to share them in a non-threatening way and be open to new ways of thinking.
The old adage "friends first" comes to mind, and I guess that is the ideal situation. Hopefully my ideal match and I would find things in common, have some sort of connection, and the "friends" part would come naturally.
