Date a soulmate from California, United States. Well I am laid back easy going just looking for friends to start, I am not looking for a booty call either and believe that only as friends first could we ever dare to take it to another level furthermore probably not until we were best friends or more so I don't want to grab your butt, I will keep my eyes in only appropriate places and I have no agenda other than wanting to have a good time getting to know you better. I also do not believe in sex unless 2 people are in love, I have thrown enough caution to the wind with this one in the past but not any more so RUN away if that bothers you please. I am pretty easily amused, I love dirt roads and cattle crossings. I just paid off my last credit card and that was a very awesome day. I own a small completely paid for piece of rural property that is 2.5 acres and plan on eventually living on it off grid (solar/wind/well/septic/propane) as sustainable as I can including small scale farming and canning. I enjoy hiking, riding my Rincon 680 quad, taking coastal and mountain road trips to really nice spots (Pendola hot springs, etc.) or doing something new, I like it even better when someone shows me some of their special spots or we find some new places together. If you like beer that's also a plus. I wanted to add that I was vegetarian for over a year to get back into shape and now that I am closer to my goal I am open to any kind of food but gravitate toward healthy stuff if I have the chance, i do see a juicer in my future. I only tell myself how to eat, order whatever you want everyone's diet is up to them and them alone. I just got a 27 speed road bike and have been riding it on the weekends for fun and to keep fit. I like shooting, heck blowing tannerite up is quite the good time if you have some watermelons, ask me how I know. I might reword this later to say something like "Epic driver needs female copilot for harrowing adventures in road-tripping if you qualify please respond here". survivalism, survivalist, survival or just plain old sustainable living all sound good to me.
Meet someone special from California, United States. Soooo.....how does one elegantly walk the tightrope and tackle the task of describing themselves without sounding like a Jersey shore d-bag on one end, but not going too far to the left and sounding like a combination of Rainman &Forrest Gump???
4000 characters to describe yourself???!!! I didn't know I was typing a resume' for the LA Times....then again I guess if your going to jump into the deep end without floaties on, you may as well go big or go home....right?
After high school I went on active duty military service for 4 1/2 years which was a phenomenal exeperience since I got to see the world on Uncle Sam's dime. During that time I'm grateful that I saw enough things to fill a lifetime and it makes you realize that we must cherish all the good moments that much more and never take things for granted.
After my time in the service I was working marriage infidelity cases for a private investigation firm out of North Hollywood for about a year (yes, just like you see in CHEATERS). I've often contemplated writing a book based on that one year of work I did at that time...it would make Jerry Springer look like Sesame Street. Shortly thereafter, I was hired into my current job which I've been doing since March of '98. I live on the central coast 7 miles from the beach with my 2 "kids" my German Shepherds :-)
Living on the central coast couldn't be better.... and just to prove it I'm going shopping for gravestones next week cause they're going to bury me here....humidity and foul weather are no bueno!! If you need to find me you wont have to look far....I'm staying by the beach!!!!
I cannot think of anything better than beaches and living among hundreds of vineyards from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara and all points in between. I've never taken that for granted.
Living on the central coast definitely encourages an active & healthy lifestyle. I love working out, crossfit, running on the beach near the ocean with my dogs and dog parks are favs....Taking in a good movie, book, or dining out is a close second. Salsa dancing and wine tasting have become hobbies and on that note....
UPDATE: One of my hobbies has become an occupation......I recently got a "side-gig" at a very prestigious vineyard here on the central coast. Having not one, but two cool jobs is boombastic :-)
Nothing is more important to me than my family and friends, so in that respect I'm much like my 2 German Shepherds: loyal, dedicated and can be counted on 24/7 & 365. Having integrity, trust, and honesty are the foundations for anything successful...that goes for any relationship, whether it's friendships or otherwise. I place just as much emphasis on seeing past the obvious and looking at a persons depth....
I've been to the big apple and I've been to the pineapple and all points in between.....with that being said I must say this...my time (and I'm sure yours too), is precious and life is short!
I remember reading something awhile ago that stuck with me....you can tell so much from a person the way they handle (2) things in life: Whenever the airlines lose their luggage and when they're brought the wrong order in a restaurant. Coincidentally, I've experienced both fairly recently and that saying came to mind on how I handled both incidents.
I have some good news & some bad news:
First the bad news...the bad news is that if you think you can keep up, then I haven't heard from you yet....
The good news is that I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.
Until we meet...take care and be safe....best of luck to you in the search for what we're all looking for!!! Salud ;-)
