I'm a huge fan of live music of any kind and I like to be adventurous and find great restaurants. I'm a 'What you see is what you get' kind of guy. I'm not putting on a show for you or anyone else. I think we're damn lucky to live where we live so I like to take advantage of it. I love to go out on the water and do some paddleboarding or enjoy an afternoon on a friend's boat. I hit the hiking trails, a pick up game of basketball, a road trip up (or down) the coast, just about anything to enjoy beautiful So Cal.
I love to travel and plan to do a lot more. Wine tasting is a favorite. I'm no snob about it but, I know what I like. Music has always been a big part of my life so a local acoustic set is great and I'm always up for a concert of any kind. Comedy clubs are fun too! Who doesn't like to laugh, right? I spend some of my free time volunteering and giving back wherever it's needed. I know not everyone has extra funds to donate to charity, but we all have at least a little bit of time to give. It really is quite rewarding.
I'm most attracted to women who know what they want and aren't afraid to go get it. Ambition is damn sexy to me. I like extroverts who know how to have fun. Life is too short to be boring! OK, if I skipped anything...just ask.

I love watching sports, but do not place them above the more important things in life. I enjoy playing sports and other games, though these days that is mostly on the Wii. I've always enjoyed drinking wine but now am trying to learn more about it and what foods go well with certain wines. I've always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument so I've begun trying to teach myself the ukulele (I figured it would be easier since there are only four strings). At the rate I'm going, I should be able to play a couple songs in the next 20-30 years.
I spend a good deal of my time reading and writing. My degree is in Comparative Literature and that is one of my passions. There is much that can be learned about humanity, culture, compassion, and the world we live in from great literature.
