Date someone special from San Bernardino, United States. Hi! Writing this while listening to "Somebody i used to know" by Goyte...over and over again becoming increasingly inspired. I guess I'll start by saying I like long walks on the beach (haha), camping, movies, dining out, scenic drives, fun with friends, traveling to exotic places - mostly tropical, quiet time, creativity, watching family guy, watching food channel, watching Discovery-NatGeo-History channel. My favorite tv show is "Shameless".
I have never been married and I don't have any kids because I haven't been ready to commit. I had both of my parents at home while I was growing up. I want the same thing for my kids. I would like to find a nice girl who has the same plans. Life moves really fast. I can't believe we're almost half way through 2012.
I've never done this online thing before. This is kind of like blind dating I guess. It is uncomfortable, but because I'm not doing it alone (hopefully my mate is experiencing this too) it makes me feel better about it. I needed some inspiration to actually do this (I attempted to join 6 months ago). Things haven't really worked out with the girls I'm meeting through my normal course of travel. I'm getting tired of being 'stuck' in a relationship. I want to be in a relationship with someone I admire, love and cherish.
I hope my story is not unique. Maybe, just maybe, there's someone out there who wants the same things and doesn't have funky tattoos of their ex's names on them (I don't have any tats - not against them, just not for me), or a major vice they cannot control. I don't do drugs or drink excessively, but I do tolerate it a little.
More about me, I have an over active imagination. I have worldly desires to travel and live comfortably. I plan for emergencies, I plot my course. I am also very spontaneous (not contradictory when used in context). I have realistic plans and always try to set the bar higher when I achieve each goal.
People would say I'm very sociable, but I am not very approachable. I'm definitely not controlling. I'm not very trusting at first, but will love you with all my heart once you are inside my bubble. I am a loyal friend. I have friends I met in grade school who I converse with weekly. All of them are married with kids. They set a good example for me.
Not sure if this is where I describe who I'm looking for? Someone who is a little like me, adventurous, dedicated to achieving their goals, responsible and have their own stuff going on. I'm not really looking for someone to compete with. I don't compete with ones I love, I compliment them.
I can cook, I will eat anything (spicier the better!), I love to bbq and even bought a smoker a while back that we can experiment with! I love street food, street tacos in TJ, anything Mediterranean, Thai, Indian and spicy.
