My kids are my top priority so everything revolves around them...though they are old enough to be pretty busy so I finally have some time to socialize. (They are 11, 14, 22). My passions are writing and creating and I'm blessed to be able to do what I love.

Great Times: traveling or a quick road trip, laughing until your abs ache and you're shedding tears, massage, a great meal, hearing my kid say I love you, accomplishing something really big, knowing you've made a difference to someone, great comedy, learning something new and exciting (like surfing), skydiving, roller coasters, a big hug (especially if it lasts a while), great conversation by the ocean, anything with my kids or someone as cool as they are

I can be described as smart, soulful, shy, resilient,giving, nurturing and driven, a little earthy but not so earthy that I wear birkenstocks and no make-up.. I am proud that I put myself through college and grad school and am doing what I love and just wrote my first eBook! I can be funny and witty when I get going and love to have that banter with someone and love it when I can laugh with someone..
I like when someone can have depth when its called for but a lightness and laughter too about the simple things in life. I also like to be spontaneous at times and push the limits (just a little of the old high school rebel in me) like finding a way to get up on my roof to check out the most beautiful sunset ...Or to go to the beach at late at night to listen to the waves and see the stars...Which leads me to my next point, I am a hopeless romantic...I would say what girl isn't? But I actually know some women who hate cooking and don't care about romance, I'm not one of them. I enjoy giving and receiving romantic surprises and I feel this is so important to keep the spice in a relationship...I would like to attract someone who loves kids and who is comfortable with doing kid stuff. I also would like to meet someone who is successful and has reached some of their goals in life, who is sweet and ultra kind to others in a genuine and authentic way when no one is watching, an animal lover, likes the outdoors and all its beauty, values fitness and staying in shape, is honest lives a life of integrity, and likes to go out and dance and to dinner once in awhile.
I am not the type of girl who is regimented with time (I liked living in Europe where 9:00am actually means 9:20am and siesta is from 1 to 3 every day, lingering late dinners where there's lots of laughter, fun, and wine with intimate friends). I don't do well with people who get bent out of shape if things are not on a fixed schedule and dinner is at 6pm every night...
My sister was just teasing me about being a food snob because she would be happy with fish sticks and a cheap margarita for dinner while I would prefer b-qued salmon and veggies with a good syrah or cab..
I prefer small groups or quiet time to large crowds and concerts/amusement parks..Don't get me wrong, I love to have fun, but not in big crowds! What I value most in life is our experiences, people and beautiful things like the way my daughter looks at me with love when she opens her eyes upon wakening in the am..the way the pine trees smell in Tahoe, or a sunset in Shell Beach. I am grateful for my girl and for our fun experiences together and am a devoted mom where I put my girl first. I feel like I have one chance to do it right, and our lives are not a dress rehearsal....I have passion for working on myself and know I am a work in progress like most of us are, we just don't like to admit it (especially on a dating website where only the good is displayed).
I love learning and experimenting with the law of attraction; our futures are a product of our present thoughts and emotions...But really, I value family, close friendships, and fun experiences. I am real and like someone who is real, mature, bold, and positive, and will do what he says he is going to do..Oh, and I wouldn't mind attracting someone who is handy and can build/fix things.
