Date someone special from Larkspur, United States. Hi...I am a teacher turned administrator and am currently in the last year of my doctorate program. I love my work and feel lucky to be excited about what I do. I have spent much of the past few years working very hard and while it is paying off, I am ready to relax a little. While not working , I spend time reading or running-my two favorite things. Recently I started paddle-boarding on the bay and find it amazingly relaxing. I enjoy being on the water and am more of an ocean person than lake person. My friends think I am funny, but they are friends after all...I do like to look at the humor in life, it makes it much more interesting. I can be a little shy at first but am actually very comfortable in almost any situation. I am a secure and confident person and hope to find a man who finds those attributes attractive.
I enjoy my friends and anyone with a good sense of humor who is positive, happy and secure. I am not a big bar person, but I do like to sit on a deck and enjoy a social hour. I like having good conversations about almost any topic and prefer to sit with friends and drink some wine rather than watch TV. I really enjoy animals and would love to get a dog again (my best buddy passed away a few years ago and I miss him everyday). Let's see... I like to have balance in my life.
My family is very important to me and I am very connected with all of them. We are spread around the country but try to find a way to see each other fairly regularly. I grew up on the east coast and still have strong ties there. I return to New England a couple of times a year-I try to get to the beach each year. I love to boogy board-yes I know what that sounds like, but what can I say, it is really fun! I miss New England seasons, but I love northern California with it's open spaces and beauty.
