I could hardly wait to escape to a more exciting, stimulating world, which I did during my college years - and shortly thereafter wound up right back in the same small town. It seemed to grow up along with me, however, and is a superb place to live.
I did not really enter the working world until my mid-thirties, and then in a field which had nothing to do with my academic interests. Circumstances and good luck have kept me busy and quite happy, however.
My curiosity about the world has never left, and I take advantage of every opportunity that I can to experience it. I am also quite happy at home, as well, and thoroughly enjoy my life here.
The man most appealing to me is intelligent, kind, and a gentleman. He should be interested in many different things, and not afraid to learn/experience new things. Enjoying traveling together would be a huge plus. Good health and energy are a plus, also.
