Date men and women from San Diego, United States. Wow this is a lot harder than I would have thought! My friends have told me that I am not anything like the stereotypical Asian American guy: I'm a reasonably good driver, I don't smell funny, and I don't eat anything with the head still attached. Although I am pretty good at math... Ok I guess you can't win 'em all ;-)
I'm one of those rare locals who grew up in San Diego and never found a reason to leave, especially since I have the greatest friends and family right here. I'm always doing stuff... Photography, motorcycles, camping, diving, traveling, etc and am always looking for new things to try and places to go. (You like doing stuff too? Awesome!) I try to stay active, and I love getting a great work out -- especially outdoors in this gorgeous city of ours. Just tried skiing for the first time a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! I'm a big fan of British comedy like Monty Python or Eddie Izzard, and have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor. But don't be fooled, underneath my playful banter I'm a nerd (oh yeah), an optimist and a hopeless romantic.
I'm not interested in the typical SoCal girl (flaky, materialistic and vapid), I think I deserve better than that. I'm here looking to meet someone that I'd never find in a bar, hoping to develop something that will last. Attractive, intelligent, versatile, well spoken, goofy... The only two things that I ABSOLUTELY insist on are: 1)you being straight with me, and (2) just being yourself. No games please, I won't have the time. I am up for almost anything I love to experience new things. Fine dining and seeing a concert or play is always fun. Cooking a nice dinner (I used to be a cook) and watching a movie at home is always fun with the right person. I enjoy nature and culture. I go for a walk almost every day, mostly on the beach (I live a few minutes from the beach), but many times I will take my dog and go to mission trails, Balboa park, ect., I love to go out and see anything cultural (arts, music, musuems, what have you) I am open to anything though. It always seemed to me if you find the right person to be with, everything you do becomes fun and interesting.
I took a test at work one time and it said honor was of high value to me. It rang true to me when I read it. With this being said, I am very loyal person. My friends have been lifelong. I have never cheated in any relationship. My employees follow me from company to company, ect.
My father was a in the band for the Air Force, and I grew up all over the United States, I learned to love classical music from here. I bridged to other music after this though. I like all music. I am always up to see almost any band. My most recent travel to see a band was in Cochella to see the Big Four concert. Long story short Iove music. Any music - I appreciate anything that is quality regardless of where it comes from.
I have a good job that I like. I am a mid upper management position in the security industry. I like that I get to meet all types of clients in this industry and that I get to experience a lot of variety. My work allows me some freedom to set my own schedule. In other words, more time for you! Outside of that I would like to publish a novel one day. Preferable in Fantasy and Sci/Fi. Once I was five years old my school said I was mentally slow. I was put into a special program and my teacher got me to read the Hobbit (prequel to the Lord of the Rings). After that I tested at 186 IQ. Being raised in the Military and moving around a lot, I read a lot as a kid, primarily Fantasy and Science Fiction. I have a love of this literature, but I will read anything.
I am outgoing, but not to crazy about. I am easygoing, I never loose my temper, ect. I have high hopes of meeting a nice women here, and I wish everyone who trys this the best of luck.

Date men and women from California, United States. Since I'm having difficulty writing about myself (something I do NOT like to do), I will just use the inspiration questions from MATCH. Here it goes...
1. A friend once described me as "Silent but deadly". I tend to be quiet, but when something needs to be said, I jump straight to it. I don't pontificate.
2. Dancing makes me smile.
3. Proudest accomplishment...not changing my core beliefs despite difficult challenges thrown my way.
4. I'm grateful for life.
5. I don't really have a set type of person that I am looking for...I'd rather just wait to see what kind people God has thrown my way.

8. Regarding relationships, people tend to say "whatever makes you happy." Well, I completely disagree. If the goal is being happy, then that means you are thinking of yourself first. And that is NOT loving someone. If you can't love someone, then you are miserable. So love first, and the happiness is a natural by-product. Does that make sense? I know, I know...it's a little on the chessy side.
9. Passions...dancing (just in case you haven't figured that out yet), history, philosophy/theology, hiking (sort of, I need to get back into it).

I think I'm a pretty well-rounded person... laid-back, yet ambitious, artistic but analytical, try to have fun every chance possible but know when it's time to be serious. I'm a San Diego native taking advantage of everything that this city and Southern California have to offer and feel quite fortunate to have been able to spend my whole life living in this awesome playground.
