I'm a middle kid, so I think I’ve managed to do everything wrong. But I’m thankful, because life off the beaten path has led to so many experiences for me. I got to travel with some great guys playing volleyball throughout the country and over the border from San Francisco to Montreal. I was re-educated on how to be a gentleman all over again in med school living in the Old World culture of Guadalajara. With all that behind me though, I think I left my heart in San Francisco. (Go Bears!)
I love my job because I get to help people every day and listen to their stories. I believe that random acts of kindness can make a difference in the world, however small it may seem at that moment. Most friends would describe me as sincere, trustworthy and loyal. My closest friends would immediately "out" me as a dork. And my mom and dad raised me to be a polite, humble and conscientious kid. That’s important to me, so I try my hardest to pass those traits onto my own.
I'm really hoping to cross paths with someone who's cute and quirky, sexy yet sweet-hearted with a secret smile that melts me; someone who's clever and witty and can get me tongue-tied in an engaging conversation. Someone who is able to recognize her own weaknesses at times, and make an effort to make herself a better person; and inspire me to do the same. Oh yeah - inner dork is a requirement and brings color and smiles to any relationship! On a deeper level, I am just drawn to people who are confident yet humble, with a strong sense of loyalty and family values. I think there's nothing more attractive.
At the end of the day, I'm just your typical hard-working, blue-collar guy that likes to get out of my scrubs or tie at the end of the day, and go home to be someone's teddy bear or punching bag for the rest of the night. Because happiness is meant to be shared. I wanna share my "happy" and my smile with that someone special. And if she captures my heart, I'm known to be loyal to the coeur.
So I guess I'm here looking for a new friend, someone with a common bond, maybe a kindred spirit to live up the good times with... aren't we all? Let's start with coffee or a bite, and we can always see where it goes from there. But I'm in no particular rush. I’m happy that I've accomplished many of the big things that I set out to do in life - and I find myself in a very content phase right now. But dangit, it would be so perfect if I could find someone to be a part of it. :)
