Date a man from United States. Hello, I recently relocated to California from North Carolina. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people. I am looking to meet someone whom could show or tell me about the cool sites in the Bay Area. California is beautiful, but it would be nicer to have someone to explore it with. I like to stay in shape and work out whenever I have the time. Being outdoors is a passion of mine. just Family is important to me because they have always been in my corner through good and bad times. When I am not working, I like to attend concerts, comedy events and movies. personal.
I would like to meet a woman that enjoys staying in shape eating healthy like myself. Someone who is family-oriented. Basically, I am looking for that special someone whom I consider my best friend. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. If my profile seems interesting drop me a line.
Meet single man from United States. Ok, let’s get started. I am fairly new to Northern California having moved here last December. Prior to that I had lived in Newport Beach, California for nearly 4 years. Originally from Boston, MA and I still have my accent which I have tried to drop time and time again.
I would describe myself as confident but not overly. I tend to care what people think of me because I believe being the best I can be. I want people who come across me to think and say "what a cool guy". It is not about attention as it is about the importance of one’s own honor and respect for those around them.
I like to take weekend trips to who knows where. Being from the east coast I travel back there quite often. But, I have been doing a lot of travelling in California.
Who am I looking for? This is a tough call only because on line profiles can be deceiving. In the past, most relationships started with a simple conversation either in the gym, parking lot, work etc. I would like to meet someone who is honest, confident, serious about her ambitions and unselfish. Sorry ladies but these are traits not often found all in one women. I believe she is out there and so shall we take a chance and meet?
Thought to share a famous quote: "love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired"
Hope to chat with you soon.
Date someone special from United States. Me…
Bullet for my Valentine, Drowning Pool, Sick Puppies, Burn Halo, Rise Against, Digital Summer, I will listen to top 40 and even country. I HATE rap. NCIS, CSI, Hawaii 5-0, Burn Notice, James Bond, Iron Man, Avengers, GI Joe, Riddick, Mission Impossible, The “Bourne” series.
Ruth’s Chris, Cheesecake Factory, BJ’s……Brewery, Sushi, Starbucks (not a coffee drinker though).
Riding mountain bikes (down is better than up but you have to earn the ride), rock climbing (outdoor is better than indoor but I do both), hiking (stuff that takes all day and ends in places you cannot drive to), would love to learn to skydive and surf.
I don’t mind being lazy once in a while and watching a movie marathon but would prefer to be outside doing…almost anything.
Ideal weekend/vacation. A few days at a hotel on the beach. Love the water and being in the sun. Or rent a cabin in Tahoe and take the bikes up to Heavenly for some downhill. Also LOVE Las Vegas. Not a big gambler but just love being there. One day at Blue Mountain for some hiking/rock climbing and the next relaxing by the pool.
PS, Chivalry is not dead, just forgotten by most people. I am a hopeless romantic. If you don't want to be treated like a lady, I'm not your guy.
Meet a soulmate from United States. Ive been in the bay area for a couple months now, and although I still have boxes to unpack I am starting to get settled in. Ive found the shortest drive into work, and a shortcut or two I can use on those extra-busy mornings. Ive also learned how to navigate BART and the bridge toll plazas. The new job required a couple more suits in my closet and the new apartment needed some new furniture. Im really starting to enjoy the beach, too.
I like to think Im not very complicated. But they say were the sum of our past experiences. Since my life isnt a simple story, maybe Im more complicated than I realize. I grew up on a ranch in the middle of nowhere - I was horseback riding before I could walk. My parents will celebrate their 50th anniversary later this year and I was the first kid from either side of my family to graduate from college. I spent 15 years in Colorado where I fell in love with the mountains. (have you ever seen a Saint Bernard running through snow drifts?) The last couple years I tried to adjust to the heat of a Texas summer before finding my way to the west coast. Ive been told over and over that Im a keeper but that I just havent found that special someone to share my life with. Since I bought a ticket to the big lottery jackpot, I must still be an optimist at heart. (or just really bad at math!) In the meantime Ive focused on my career and reaching many of the goals I have.
So maybe you can help me discover San Francisco and all the hidden gems the bay area has to offer. If the chemistry is right and things click, we can write our own adventures...
Date people from United States. I am an active guy. I have a lot of different interests, and playing sports is probably the main one. I have my own business and work hard at helping people the best I can. I am happy to have wonderful friends and family around me. I am very outgoing, social and friendly. I get along with just about everyone.
I believe in supporting my partner in whatever she does. Her interests would become my passions. I would love to feel that support from her as well. I am looking for someone active as well, as people with active lifestyles tend to understand each other.
I am looking for someone who takes good care of themselves, as I do. Both mental and physical fitness are important to me. Someone who can make me laugh, and who laughs at my corny jokes as well. Someone who would love to travel and explore just about every inch of the world.
Honesty, trust and being open in a relationship are important to me.
Anything else you would like to know? Please feel free to ask.
Meet men and women from United States. Me.
-I've got a wicked funny sense of humor and a quick wit. Nothing better than hours spent telling/hearing funny stories with a group of friends or strangers.
-Even though I'd consider myself unconventional in many ways, I take career seriously. I've got drive and focus.
-Staying healthy (diet and exercise) is key. I run about 30 miles a week, a couple marathons per year, and think fit = sexy, for me and for you.
-I am a music junkie. I moved here a few years back via Chicago (catch the Wilco reference?) where, in my 20's, I managed record stores for years. I still can't get enough new/indie music and live shows. I also can't shake my diehard love for the Blackhawks and Cubbies. (SF is great, but it's got nuthin' on Wrigleyville in the summer.)
(-As far as the career, I have moved on to slightly more serious pursuits. Plus, record stores went extinct if you didn't hear.)
-I'm intelligent, and attracted to intelligence. I read/view a lot to stay informed on world/national events, and don't understand people who are happily oblivious.
-I have great relationships with my family and a core group of life-long friends; I put energy into maintaining that.
-I do have a tendency to swear like a sailor. I can filter it when needed, but by default, my tongue is pretty salty.
-Ideal Saturday = a game of euchre with three friends, bloodys all around, and some Al Green records in the background. Nice!
-I had this thing for pinball in my youth. For some reason, in the 90's, I road-tripped w/ buddies to truck stops in all of the lower 48 to play pinball and see the country. I still can't walk past one in a bar without dropping a few quarters.
-Atheism is not a religion, but I do sometimes get preachy about it.
And that's plenty about me. You?
-I guess that, first of all, you read the above, and this sounds like somebody interesting. That's a good start.
-In terms of what you bring to the table, I enjoy people with a very wide variety of passions, pursuits and interests.
-However, I think if you are NOT some of the following things, we'd stand a better chance of hitting it off...
You're not a frequent couch potato.
You're not particularly materialistic. Stability, comfort, lifestyle are important, but you're not greedy or focused on possessions by any stretch.
You don't complain, or at least not too often, and never about the little stuff. You're not morose.
-It would be a bonus if you had a charismatic personality, a sense of adventure, and a robust sense of humor.
Over and out.
