I moved to San Diego from Denver about 7 months ago for another job that did not pan out (the reality of choosing to go to grad school for real estate development and getting out in 2006 when the market crumbled). Needless to say, I have hit some adversity in my life and am pretty much starting over after losing everything in a failed development partnership the last few years. I know that “laying it out there” will alienate a vast majority of the women out there, which is my intent. I have learned a lot through this experience, about myself, what is important to me, and about people that I thought were my friends, etc. I am grateful for what I do have in my life and I do have a lot that I am so grateful for each and every single day.
