However, after spending much more time on here than I care to admit, I have come to find that most every woman is looking for the same thing: a down-to-earth, all-around good guy. Well, I think I am one…at least I am the kind of good guy who does not post pictures of myself with my shirt off nor any showing off my bicep tribal tattoos, nor any of me hanging out with my band of brothers in some PB bar -- because quite honestly, PB gives me hives.
First and foremost, I am a doting and very involved father of two young boys. If my having young children, or if my having a previous relationship is a problem for you, then sorry ladies…I’m not the guy for you. I do share 50/50 custody of my kids with their mother - it's a very friendly and healthy relationship.
I am funny (highly sarcastic actually), well-read, educated, well-spoken, well-mannered, fun, successful in my career, caring, chivalrous (raised in the South…but don’t have the accent), doting, charming, humble (after writing this…yeah right!), active and driven. I love a good cab (if you're wondering why I like vehicles for hire, then perhaps we shouldn't meet), a great pilsner, a fantastic meal and even better dialogue. I am a book lover (now an iPad/Kindle lover), and cherish the intricacies of the English lexicon. The only six pack I have is in my fridge, but I still try and live healthy, eat as healthy as I can and exercise frequently to keep myself in shape. I enjoy running, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding…you name it…I will do anything physical. I love to travel, both domestically and abroad, and have been to countless places around the world…I hope to continue that with my partner.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and am interested in meeting someone who is friendly, easy-going, and likes to enjoy life as it comes. Just started crossfit last month and am loving it!!
Right now I am just looking to find new people to expand my friend base, find someone fun to hang out with and to go do things with. I am not currently looking for anything serious but am not closed to the idea of finding the right person. I have never been good at these "about me" things, so here it goes. I am from a small town in the midwest though have been in San Diego since 1990. I originally came out here with the Navy and decided to stay. After the military I got my associates in electrical engineering though discovered by the end of school it wasn't what I wanted to be doing. Through the 90's I made a decision not to get too serious about anything except in line skating. That drive got me a couple sponsors, into the first x-games, and in a few magazines and on tv a couple times - all because I WAS crazy enough to go for it.
Currently, I work in the software security industry in sales, I love to go do things whether it be a bike ride, some golf, hockey, volleyball, skating, and other than riding horses (I'm allergic), will try just about anything. I have a strong passion for life and would love to find someone that I am compatible with to share that passion with.
