So,I love my chosen field of work. I worked really hard to become qualified at what I do. My job gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I want to keep it balanced though, so, once in a while, I go out with some friends. I like trying new things. Actually, since I'm new to this part of the country, everything I do is considered new, and I'm having lots of fun with that.
Whenever I can, I exercise. I do it for health reasons. It feels good to sweat. Still, I am chubby, so if that bothers you, then click to the next profile. I usually go to the gym, and run on the treadmill. I run outside when it's not too hot. I also play the dance games on Wii. Sometimes, I go hiking and do outdoorsy activities with some friends.
I like to keep myself busy. I strive to be productive as much as I can. Although, I really want a balanced life. I read books, mostly bestsellers. I know it's mainstream but there's a reason why a majority of the population like them. I'm thinking about getting one of those electronic books, though I'm really fond of the smell of actual books, both old and new.
I am learning how to cook. However, I am getting mixed reviews about my cooking (Hey, at least, I'm trying). I successfully cooked my first turkey on Thanksgiving of 2011 (with heavy supervision). Anyway, I want to be healthy that's why I'm trying to prepare my own meals.
I strive to be happy and have a positive outlook on life. For me, laughter is the best medicine. I choose to watch movies that make me smile. I listen to music that puts me in a good mood. People have said I have a very sunny disposition, and I think that puts them in a good mood too. Nothing like a little sunshine, I live in the desert after all.
