Date a soulmate from Marina del Rey, United States. Hi there! My friends would describe me as a bubbly, outgoing and helpful person. In my job I work as a pediatric nurse and I love it. The kids are so resilient and teach me something new everyday, and they make me laugh which is an added bonus. I have a passion for helping others, specifically kids and spend some of my spare time helping out at a camp for sick kids. My life isn't all kids though haha, I do love the finer things in life. There's nothing better than a Sunday Fundays, going wine tasting, trying a new restaurant, making dinner with friends (normally grilling, it's my favorite), reading a good book or watching a good movie is always great too. If I had a never ending supply of money I would just travel! I love flying and road trips are always fun. So far my favorite places that I have been fortunate to visit are Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. I want to hit up Italy, Greece, Thailand and India in the next 5 years. That might have to get put on the back burner though for a bit as I was just accepted to grad school and will be starting in the Fall with one class this summer. I'm looking forward to the challenge! Fitness has become a big part of my life lately as I have taken up spin classes 3 times a week and yoga twice a week along with just finishing my first 5k! :) Most importantly I work hard so that I can take the time off to go visit friends and family as we are scattered all over the place.
Decided to join match as I've had some friends have luck with it but also because I've found it hard to meet people. I'm looking for a guy who is ambitious, loves to smile, has a healthy lifestyle, loves getting to know new people, is a good communicator (always working on that haha), likes to travel, and finds friends and family to be important. Not too much to ask huh? haha Basically someone with good morals and beliefs! Hope I get to hear from you, ask me anything, I'm an open book! :)
Meet single girl from Marina del Rey, United States. I am looking for someone who is passionate and has a positive outlook on life, someone with strong values, someone who is open to communication and sharing their thoughts, someone who loves the outdoors and working out, someone to go out with and share a great conversation/ laugh with. In my free time I love cycling, running, taking long walks or hikes, watching the sunset or city lights, enjoying music, meeting new people, going to the movies, a sports game, or concerts. I would love to have someone special to share these activities with. I'd especially love to find someone who runs, road bikes, and/or hikes.
Currently I am a student at Anderson School of Management working toward a Masters in Financial Engineering.
I'm an easy going, down to earth girl who is always smiling or laughing. Maintaining good relationships with friends and family is very important to me. Things that you need to know about me, I'm an animal lover, a vegetarian, genuine, openly affectionate, appreciative of romance, a runner, a cyclist, and an equestrian (my favorite thing!).
I grew up in Riverside, CA. I have amazing parents (who have been together since high school, married for 33 years now) and a close older sister. Family, friends, and my pets mean the most to me. What would any of our achievements mean if we didn't have anyone to share them with?
I am a huge animal lover, but dogs are definitely my favorite. But, there is nothing like riding bareback in the hills with my horse. I never feel more free than this.
Date a girl from Marina del Rey, United States. Hello there and thanks for stopping by! I joined match because it has been surprisingly hard to meet people in LA, and I've heard success stories about this.
I grew up north of San Francisco in a smaller town and after finishing law school in SF, I ended up in LA for work. I work at a class action litigation firm and enjoy it a lot so far. I love living and working in a big city, but having "small-town" values like honesty, friendliness and being genuine are very important to me (and somewhat hard to find).
Personality-wise, I am friendly, open-minded, independent, and I love to joke around a lot. The times I'm happiest are when I'm enjoying the simple things in life - lounging by the pool or the beach, a backyard BBQ with friends or family, and just being outside in general. I am pretty active and love to go hiking on the weekends, usually with my dog. (I've also heard that everyone on here likes to go hiking with their dog...is it a "single" thing to do or something? Or an LA thing?) A few of my other favorites are skiing, scuba diving, books, and trying new restaurants and bars. Also just started taking (indoor) climbing classes, so if you're into that it would be great to find a climbing partner!
I'd like to meet someone friendly and warm, confident, honest, kind, smart, and with a sense of humor. I prefer a guy who is pretty settled career-wise and financially secure, and knows the general direction his life is heading. Aside from that, I just have to meet you and find out :)

Date single girl from California, United States. I'm Amanda....
.... short story, I'm originally from Ohio, moved to LA nearly 4 years ago after finishing up grad school. I studied sport marketing all through school, but found out that I love being a fan more. Now I work in international marketing and it's the best curveball life has ever thrown my way (--see what I did there with the sports pun). I love what I do, and I've definitely been a "career-first, social-life second" type of person, which is why I'm here. Trying to break old habits and change things up a bit.
Here's what I think you should know about me:
1. I'm tall, as in if you tell me on your profile that you're 6 foot but you're really 5'9- I'm going to be taller than you. Especially when I show up rocking a high heel! Consider yourself warned.
2. I'm shy at first, but I PROMISE that once I feel comfortable around you I don't shut up. Expect lame jokes and self-deprecating humor.
3. I'm competitive in probably the most annoying way. Bowling. Flip cup. Bocce ball. I don't like to lose. Luckily, I'm pretty good at most things.
4. I would consider myself a foodie - but chocolate, pizza, and guacamole are staples in my diet. Along with juiced greens.
Now, if you're still reading this I assume that you were impressed by my photos and the above ramblings... so here's what I'm looking for in YOU.
1. A good, stable job. My career is pretty important to me, and I really want a partner that feels the same. I don't really care what it is you do, so long as you're passionate about it and are ambitious about reaching your goals.
2. You are athletically inclined and/or enjoy sports. Again, it's about having a common ground and sports are a big part of my life. I want to be with someone that wants to play beach volleyball on the weekends, tailgate or watch the Lakers.
3. You can carry a stimulating conversation. I am looking for someone that's not afraid to fly their inner-dork flag. If you can challenge me intellectually, I will be hooked!
4. You eat your veggies (hear me out on this one) What's more boring than a sandwich with just meat and cheese and bread? It's not really about the vegetables, just don't be boring. Spontaneity and adventure is a must.
Meet a girl from Marina del Rey, United States. I'm an ambitious, fun loving, charismatic girl.
I am passionate about my job, and I care deeply for my friends and family. I can always find a reason to dance.. Always! And I love to laugh.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling and exploring new places, trying new restaurants, reading at the beach, watching sports, and being active.
I'm looking for someone who I can enjoy everyday life with. Someone who is motivated in life and compassionate for others. Someone who can make me laugh. And most importantly, someone who brings out the best in me, and I in them.
Date a soulmate from Marina del Rey, United States. I am looking for a lifelong companion. I want someone who will listen, make me laugh, and want to be there for me at all times. I am very passionate and affectionate and am very motherly. I want to be there for a man whenever he needs me. I want to be able to laugh with someone and be able to lean on someone. I am very social and love to talk. I want someone who has a witty sense of humor and someone who is well-rounded.
Meet someone special from Marina del Rey, United States. Hmm let's see...where to start.
I've been in LA for almost 10 years now, and enjoying every minute of it. I've lived all over the place but finally narrowed it down to the beach cities...spent a couple of years in Santa Monica and have now settled into the Marina. My 10 mile radius is more focused on how far inland than it is to the beach cities of LA or OC.
I work in online advertising, and really enjoy what I do.
I travel a couple times a month on I'm looking for someone else that just may not hbusiness - mainly New York, San Fran and Vegas with the occasional stint to Canada and London.
ave the time to meet someone given a busy schedule, who likes to take full advantage of and really enjoy the free time they have. I'd like someone who is independent and career focused - so we're on the same page and there's that mutual support and understanding of priorities.
Someone that's passionate, active, outgoing, and enjoys sarcasm. I have a dry sense of humor and LOVE someone that can keep up and add witty quips to conversation.
I would love someone that I can go out with and will stand their own and have fun in a group setting, but also enjoys a night at home where we can be completely enveloped in one another.
It's important to me that he's an alpha male in at least some aspects of his life, someone who is a decision maker and is comfortable taking control of situations - as I definitely need someone who will challenge me and isn't afraid to put me in my place. ;)
PLEASE please respect my general desired age range - and approximate distance, as I'm absolutely not looking to date a 40 year old guy who lives in Riverside...
Date single girl from United States. I'm here looking for someone who wants the same things I do. What I really don't need is someone who is just looking for a good time, I never get fresh until I really want too. Playing is not my thing anymore. I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh and smile, talks a lot, not boring, likes to drink and act out.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I recently moved to Venice and joined Match to meet new people in the area! I like to spend my free time being outdoors and exploring new places in LA. I am looking for someone who enjoys being active and traveling.
. I'm a spiritual person. I like balance. I'm artistic and creative. I sing and dance. I'm often very practical and pragmatic as well. I don't drink or smoke, nor do I want to date someone who does. I'm very health conscious, so if you're a "foodie"- (it seems like there are a lot of those on here..) be aware that I may not always want to go down that path with you. I'm very accepting of other people's differences. I won't impose my beliefs on you if you won't impose yours on me! I like/need a certain amount of time to myself to decompress... I kind of think we all do whether we know it or not. It'd be great to be with someone who understands that. If I am upset about something, I am very conscious about not taking it out on other people and doing my best to resolve issues with attention to the highest good for myself and everyone involved. I really value integrity, honesty, and communication. I'd like to be with someone who is considerate, a hard worker, has a good heart, who also carries the same aforementioned values that I do, and who I can laugh with! I know I sound kind of serious, but I really do have a very playful side- it just usually comes out when there is a certain level of comfortability. And certain people will just bring in out in me naturally. So there it is.
. I've lived in the midwest my entire life. I just relocated to LA for a career opportunity I couldn't pass up. I'm slowly settling in and getting to know people and explore new places.
I travel a bit for work,my most recent job sent me to New York every month. (it sounds fun, until you've been 27 times in 2.5 years. In my new position, I'll still travel but there will be a few different places to go. I'm really looking forward to a little more variety.
My perfect match would be someone who can teach me something. It doesn't have to be something that I could have gotten out of a textbook. I don't mind random things. I don't see the point of a relationship (any type) if you don't learn and grow as a person. I would also prefer to date someone who trys to stay healthy and works out. I 've worked out with a trainer several times a week for the last several years and workout on my own pretty frequently. You don't have to be some crazy hardbody-but you have to understand that I might not want to meet up until 8pm so I can get a workout in first.
I'm really sarcastic and someone who gets my sense of humor is a must. There is nothing worse than being on a date with someone who doesn't have any idea that you're teasing them. It just makes you feel mean..not funny.
I know we all fill out what we want in an ideal match and I generally consider it to be a recipe you don't follow exactly. I haven't met "the one" so there must be something not right in the mix. But there are a couple of things I'm quite sure about:
#1. I want kids. If your profile says "no" to have kids in the future (really, even "not sure" isn't for me. I don't think that's something you should talk someone into. It's a kid, not another drink)-then please don't waste our time. It may not be in my future, but I'd really like to give it a shot.
#2. I consider "currently separated" as just another way to say "married." In my world, married men only date their wives.
#3. I'm also pretty serious about the age range. The idea of dating someone old enough to be my father really grosses me out. I'm sure I'll get some nasty emails for saying that, but that's the truth.
