It's about 20 minutes northeast of Chico, so just far enough for a clear view of the stars and quiet times in the hammock and by the campfire ring, but close enough to bounce into town most days.
As a single dad, my daughter is very important to me, but I also share custody with her mother and it's all good, no drama. The arrangement we have give my daughter and I plenty of time together, in addition to giving me plenty of time for myself, friends, and maybe someone special.
A good fit is very hard to find. Let's agree before we even email one another, that if either of us feels things don't fit, that we don't push it.
