Date a soulmate from California, United States. I am just your all around simple woman...I can get all "dolled up" for an evening out or camp for a week. I enjoy a wide veriety of things from moutain biking to ballroom dancing.
I enjoy hiking (not mt climbing, lets not get nuts here :), fishing, target shooting, softball, biking, riding my jet ski, walking along the ocean beach or just simply hanging out at home.
I have a wonderful sense of humor and find joy in almost everything. I am a very happy person, I don't like drama of any kind in my life, although it is thrust upon me at times. However, I am firm believer in that "things only stress you out as much as you let them". You are in control of how you react to things, why would I get myself all upset and angry over something I cannot control? If I can control it, I can change it, then it won't upset me any longer! Life is just way to short to live like that.

I have 3 kids, 25, 19 and 18...One 6yr old grandson and one 7 month old grandson.
My idea of a compatable person would be someone who shares my interests and philosophies on life as stated above. He must be able to hold an intellengent conversation and not be loud and obnoxious in public. I would like him to enjoy dancing or at least be willing to learn as I really enjoy it.

I am trying to start my life over in every way and could really use a friend. I am a neat freak but it doesn't control my life. I just like things clean and organized. I would like to meet someone who is generous, non-critical and NORMAL. I don't like men who yell. I don't have a social life or many friends so I mostly just work and stay home. I don't have a lot of money so that's an issue for me, too. I used to have a great job but lost it and sort of lost myself in the process. I am struggling with finding my place in life again but slowly getting there. It would be really nice to feel wanted and needed again. I am NOT a good cook and never will be. I actually hate cooking so I would like to meet someone comfortable in the kitchen or with an unlimited credit card for going out to dinner...lol. I have a teacup chihuahua who can be annoying but is my best friend, so, whomever I am with has to put up with her-she's not going anywhere.
