I love being outdoors but I'm not exactly outdoorsy. I don't like being cooped up. I like taking walks and just being out in the sunshine and fresh air. Never done much hiking but I'd probably like it. Everyone seems to like camping on here (or at least they say they do) so I feel like an oddball saying I've never been much of a camper. Maybe I should give it a try. It might be fun to camp at a state beach. And I'd like to see some of the national parks.
I'm a plein air painter and I dabble in photography so I like to be places where I can appreciate beautiful scenery. I like to explore a bit, go for drives, see what there is to see. I try to travel when I can, and I enjoy a good road trip. I like to take snapshots and bore everyone with them on Facebook. I've been living in the midwest for a few years and now that I'm back in California I'm eager to visit all the places I took for granted when I grew up here.
I don't read as much as I'd like to but I prefer classics, satire, short stories. Moviewise, I prefer comedy, action and sci fi over drama, chick-flicks or horror. Foodwise, I like all kinds of stuff: Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Italian, a big ol' steak....In 'n' Out. :)
