I love life, but it's WAY too short, and even shorter without sharing it, so thought it was time I got back out there. I've been pretty busy with work and school (I'm currently back in school, aiming for my master's in English and/or Humanities, maybe with the goal of teaching), but I'd also love to meet someone.... Some of these are mostly just "me" things, but I made a list of my "passions and interests" recently, and that list includes family and friends, movies/film, literature, art, history, philosophy, religion, psychology, education, nature, animals, good health, and travel. Ultimately, it's probably impossible to squeeze in everything I want to do in life, but I mean to do the best I can! Anyway, life for me is also about the infinite number of incidental joys along the way. (There was a time when I might have thought that sounded cheesy, but I absolutely mean it!)
I'd say I'm both highly motivated and laid-back at the same time. My interest in movies and reading have made me something of a relative homebody, at least when single, but I'd love to get out more, especially for dining, day trips, and traveling in general. I like Second Saturdays in Sac, the occasional Giants game in SF, and any time (well, especially summer) in Santa Cruz (etc.). And spelunking - know what that is?!
