I was born in the Philippines, but raised stateside. I don’t speak Tagalog since I was nine months old when I came to live here. My mom tried to teach me but by then I just wanted to go outside and make mud pies! I love the outdoors. I love camping…making your tent, campfires, coffee, fishing, hiking, just being outside. I also enjoy the beach. Something about swimming in the ocean feels like home…its peaceful being in the water.
I enjoy working out. I try to go every day or at least four to five times a week. I LOVE flipping tires! I know that sounds strange but honestly it’s a great workout. I actually enjoy running. My shins don’t hurt anymore and I can run thirty minutes nonstop. I know that might not sound like a lot, but it’s a huge achievement for me. I have signed up for two runs. One is a 5k Zombie run in SoCal and I am very excited to go. The other is a marathon my trainer is forcing to do. I am trying to be conscientious of what goes into my body. Bad habits are hard to break especially if you are an awful cook. Who has two thumbs and burns quinoa…THIS GAL! LoL
