Don't get me wrong I do like to go out, but with my occupation and raising my daughter, going out all the time is not ideal. Finding friends would be a plus, but I'm ready for more. I'm pretty down to earth, funny, and independent; but it would be nice to have someone do things for me or with me from time to time. I absolutely enjoy my job. Work takes up quite a bit of time during the week, but when the work's done it's time to play :) Play could be wine tasting, the movies, a new restaurant, cooking something up in my kitchen, snowboarding, beers in the tower, a cozy night in, heading out of town for the weekend, a home get-together with friends (poker, BBQs), or going out with friends.. While I like to put on a dress or strut in heels from time to time, I'm really a tomboy at heart. I play in a pool league (think you could take me?). I'm pretty competitive, I can make walking across the parking lot a mini-foot race if you'll go there. You will never have to watch a chick flick on my account! Horror is my favorite genre. I'm also a bit nerdy. My favorite ap is Words (probably from my upbringing in a serious Scrabble-playing family...really, we had a Scrabble dictionary), favorite TV show - Jeopardy, and the crossword is the best part of the newspaper.
I feel my upbringing makes it easy for me to get along in any crowd or situation. I have been lost in multiple countries in the world and attended three different high schools growing up, I know I'm up to any challenge that comes my way. New social settings and activities are always a plus...I'd be excited to explore the new world a future relationship may bring.
Family is important, of course. My parents are two of my closest friends.
