Well to that I say I am definitely not growing a tail and I am a perfectly functioning member of society who has never been arrested or institutionalized. Most of my actions are well thought out and almost always rational ;). I do have a slight case of confidence, which you may have gathered from an earlier statement.
Truth is, I just moved back to OC after leaving at 18 to go to college and I stayed away experiencing different worlds as long as I could until the pull of the Pacific (and my family) was too strong to resist. Since I am still working to rebuild my social group, I figured I would take advantage of the internets in order to meet some eligible bachelors.
Here are some things I appreciate in the opposite sex:
Humor – If you can make me laugh, I will return the favor often
Tallness – yes I am tall and I like to wear high heels, so being tall = bonus
Athleticism – I was a college volleyball player and regularly go running/golf/hiking/yoga/etc. I am a sucker for sporty dudes
Culinary Skills – specifically, grill master. I can do the rest.
Nice Teeth – Gotta have them. And all around good hygiene!
Ambition/Motivation – I appreciate someone with the same drive as me to succeed and be the best at whatever I am spending 40 hours of my life per week doing.
Social Skills – being able to talk to a boss or a sister, go to a dive bar or a club, play darts or foosball, quote movies when appropriate, etc.

I get that joy from loving Jesus. I am a optimistic and driven person who enjoys the challenge of putting my best foot forward in efforts to better myself. I am a Native Southern California girl who didn't even make it far from the beach to attend college. I studied Kinesiology for a bachelors and Education for a masters at Biola University. I have been teaching P.E. for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at a public school for 4 years. I have a passion for the struggles that the students are going through, the obesity epidemic is out of hand, and much attention should be going towards a positive change. I do enjoy teaching and I cannot tell you a day that goes by without an interesting or hilarious story. Kids are pretty funny! I also coach volleyball and soccer for the junior high and give individual softball lessons. Throughout my youth, coaches related strong work ethic and life skills to athletics and I hope to do the same. I have found that when volunteering I feel most alive, helping out at church is awesome. I am very close with my family and love to spend time with them. We do a lot of beach camping and who doesn't love a BBQ with some cornhole?! I became a homeowner about a year ago..so many "fix-its"! but wow, what a blessing and I admit I kinda like getting dirty. I have fallen in love with traveling, I had the opportunity to go to China and Alaska this year and Africa a few years back. Friends are a huge part of my life, I love jumping into good conversations with them at a wine bar, Angel game, or a backyard BBQ. Lastly staying active is a priority... I guess it should be since I am a P.E. teacher. ;) I enjoy the outdoors from: camping, hiking, kayaking, golf, and cycling, you name it and most likely I would be game for it:)
Although I am a "has been" I can still be a bit competitive! This girl does like shopping too, I get a strong sense of accomplishment when finding the best deals.
Please don't get me wrong--all these activities are fun, but I will say there is always a place for relaxing on the couch with a good glass of wine!
I am looking for someone who will be a teammate for life, a best friend, great sense of humor, travel/adventure seeker, enjoys exercise, not afraid to be a bit goofy sometimes, joyful spiritual leader, competitor, someone who still believes in chivalry, passionate family man who is looking forward to the day where he and his wife can magnify the Lord together.
