Date someone special from United States. I teach computer science in a high school, but computers are what I do, not what I am. I always describe myself as a musician first. My life centers around my kids, my job, and my music. I play the flute and ring handbells. I read a lot; You will rarely find me without a book nearby. Mostly I read SciFi/Fantasy like Eddings and Feist or Action/Adventure including Cussler, Grisham, and Clancy. I appreciate an author who can present a world that I can believe in even if it is very different from the one I live in. Its a nice mental vacation to get lost in the stories of a hero in print. I enjoy watching movies. I usually save the trips to the theater for movies that need the big screen (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings), but I will watch the same movies over and over on the small screen. I like a wide variety of movies from old musicals to big screen action, and I'm also a sucker for romantic comedy. Favorites include Singin' in the Rain, The American President, and The Princess Bride. I am involved in Boy Scouting and love to spend time in the mountains. Backpacking into the Sierras has always been a favorite way to "get away from it all." Volleyball, baseball, golf, and bowling are among my active interests. Never been a dancer, but willing to learn if I have the right partner.Intelligent, Musical, Easy-going.
