I live fairly simply but quite comfortably in a beautiful home on a hill. I love the early summer mornings; reading the paper and sipping coffee, the quiet broken only by the sounds of nearby songbirds. A trip to the gym for a short but intense workout before work is my usual pattern.
My life is not my work; I try to maintain a good balance between the two. As the owner of three retail pharmacies, though, sometimes the unexpected crisis can pull a little more than I’d like. One very important thing I am grateful for, though, is that I have some great employees who make that balance very doable more often than not. I also have been able to create the perfect pharmacy job for my interests in hospice care. It is the most rewarding pharmacy service I have known.
Much of my weekend time is spent out riding my bike or on a golf course. People spend thousands of dollars to do cycling trips in Sonoma County and I get to ride them any day I want. That rocks! My favorite roads are those vineyard lined roads between Santa Rosa and Cloverdale; Starr, Martinelli, and Westside are three of my favorites. My other favorite activity is golf. I joined the local country club about 10 years ago and play most every Sunday morning. If you play too, that would be great. If not, I often can finish 18 holes in two hours and I have the rest of the day to play elsewhere.

My Family: Family is so very important to me. In my prior life I wasn’t able to have children of my/our own, and so we adopted 3 sibling brothers from Russia. They are currently back in OH with their mom. At the time we adopted them they were 1, 2 ?, and 3 ?. I miss them terribly. I am the # 3 child of 4, all boys. My mom, and (step) dad who has been in my life since I was very young still live back east as well. When I was very young, my mom (single at the time) was very ill, and all of us learned how to cook, clean, iron, sew, and do our own laundry. My dad wasn’t very handy, and so I learned how. Yet if I didn’t know how to do something I made it my business to find out how to fix it. I am very open to an extended family, and perhaps even having more with the right person.
My Education: I have a BA in Theater/Marketing which I use everyday, but I realize that I don’t know everything. I’m constantly trying to learn everyday. If you take the time to listen to others around you, you will become a much more rounded individual. What will you teach me?
My Dreams: I would love to find someone who makes me melt! I will first look at your eyes, and your lips. I firmly believe, that you’re eyes can’t lie.
