Date someone special from California, United States. Steven Wright joke: "I have a map of the world. On the bottom it says 'one mile equals one mile'." This is not a map of the world.
If you're looking for a renaissance man who'll love to love you, maybe I'm your man. Maybe. Please, though, if you'd like to contact me, send an email. I'd rather not respond to a wink. I get more than you might imagine.
I like long walks in the rain along a beautiful quiet lake at night, as well as being stranded in the wilderness. You're just as likely to find me spending long hours in a museum as you are to find me lurking in a dark alley. I'm just as comfortable in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt as I am in a different pair of jeans and another T-shirt. While I would never think of buying a Tuxedo that doesn't mean I haven't thought about stealing one.
I speak English fluently in three different languages. I love all kinds of food, but I try never to eat on an empty stomach. Promise to take you to Italy, as it seems that's where every woman wants to go. Italy also has both museums and dark alleys. It also has some darn good food, I think. (But then again, Dominoes delivers to every Motel 6 I've ever stayed. ("Motel 6" in Italian is pronounced - "moh-tel sih-cks").
When I'm not working I'm writing (which is harder than work). If I'm not working or writing, I'm thinking. A restless mind tends to wander. I like to think because in my mind I'm free-And where my mind goes nobody knows-Sometimes not even me.
Seems to be that there's all different kinds of wilderness where you can find yourself stranded.
I read novels by Larry McMurtry and some others, and I read books about history, computers, science, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, and books about the history of the aforementioned.
It's all fine and dandy if you know where you are, but it's better if you also know how you got there. Might even give you some idea where to go next, although just wandering is always an option. Then maybe you can double-back and discover your own path. Maybe. Sometimes. If you're lucky.
Been to college and other places--and graduated--many times with honors but sometimes not---only bruises. Often it's hard to even tell the difference; honors and bruises have more in common than one might think. Sometimes you have to work hard and earn them, sometimes you get them seemingly for no reason at all, and they both fade away with time and hardly any effort.
I've written a couple of screenplays and I'm now working on another. I write song lyrics, poems, and short stories as well. Don't watch TV. Okay if you do. I'll just sit next to you, distracting you by whispering in your ear and kissing your neck until TV doesn't seem that interesting.
My rodeo days and bull riding are over and it's hard to find anything to take it's place. Nothing else is as physically and mentally demanding. But while I may be an adrenaline junkie and like dangerous things, I'm not about to take up hang-gliding or dating very young women or anything stupid like that.
Not looking for any particular kind of woman because I don't think there's any such thing. High intelligence and a super sense of humor are essential. I simply adore women and prefer their company to that of men. I flirt every chance I get, but I'm strictly and fiercely loyal when I'm in a relationship.
I'm in great physical condition-regardless of age. I'm serious and seriously funny (used to do stand-up comedy). I'll keep you on your toes, even if you're taller than me.
"So what do you do for a living?" To that I'll have to say, "I'll tell you later". I do several different things; riding and training horses, writing, and designing computer accessories and software are some -- but I'm not exactly a geek.
Don't let "the Cowboy thing" fool you. I'm very well educated (graduated Phi Beta Kappa/Summa Cum-Laude) and there's more to me than can fit in here. I have no "comfort zone"--'cause I'm comfortable anywhere and everywhere with anyone.
Meet a man from California, United States. I am Looking for a person that I can talk to. I like to go to different places to eat, I enjoy cooking in the kitchen and BBQ'ing. Jumbalya and Tri-tip are my favorites to make. Eat my food and you will agree, I'm pretty good cook. Traveling is also something I like to do and I enjoy road trips. Really just looking for someone to spend time with and do all those things that are better when done with a companion. Movies, Plays and yes even the Oprea once in a while (depending which one it is). Frequent trips to the mountains, beach , desert and Disneyland are things I really find relaxing.
Someone who likes to golf is certainly a plus or at least someone who can be supportive of my love for it. I also like many other sports including Hockey and football.
If you want to talk or say Hi, send a message! :)
