I joined the military (Army) as a Military Policeman after high school and the next thing you know....22 years had passed by. I won't go into the 22 years now which will give us many things to talk about. However, I did have the priviledge of serving in Europe and Korea and enjoyed the tours and traveling very much.
Upon retiring from the Army I started teaching high school and have been doing this for the past 11 years. As with the military, I'm enjoying this profession very much. I feel that teaching not only keeps me young but alert as well. I also like the fact that I am doing my part to mold our nations leaders of tomorrow.
I've been told that I am a funny and very caring individual. I get this from a good upbringing from my grandparents who raised me for the most part. I enjoy all types of sports and have been very athletic and active for many years. Unfortunately, I buried myself in work over the last several years which has led to about 10 - 15 extra pounds which has focused and settled right there on the gut. Well, I'm ready to start getting out there and sharing my time dancing, traveling, and spending time with that special person whom I would like to start a future.
I would like to eventually have a serious relationship that could lead to a future together. I'm looking for someone who is also active and enjoys getting out and spending time and sharing memories with each other. I am a real family man and would enjoy spending time with both our families if that is the case with you. I would also like to meet someone who likes to travel as I enjoy traveling back to the east coast (Maine) during summer months and occassionally the winter months.
