THE WHOLE ARTICLE: I am originally a Northern Californian and occasionally I grow nostalgic for her green, and wild, wide open coasts. I am a divorced but devoted coparent of a handsome, clever 18 year old son. Physically, I am a fit , muscled, 5'09", 170 pounds. I am a bit of a fitness freak and don't include much meat or dairy in my diet. I am blessed with pattern baldness (in front) and, therefore, crop my hair to the nib. It feels gooooood in the wind and I dont have to worry about pillow hair. I am a creative and motivated school teacher in the sciences. I went to graduate school in Wine Chemistry at U.C. Davis but decided I was not satisfied by this life and turned to teaching school. I am well educated and well read and admire not only intelligence, but more importantly, intellectual curiosity. If you are a story teller and can likewise listen, this is perfect. I enjoy film (especially independent and foreign film). I like cuisine spicy, and indulge in Indian, Korean and Mexican cuisine. Naturally I love vino, especially with a little bruschetta and sour dough. I am a bit of a Zelig in my multicultural nature. I married into a Korean family (am now divorced), work in the Latino community and have lived with the French, Russians and Japanese. Perhaps, my sea captain father and my immigrant French grandparents can explain this predilection for foreign culture and friends.Physical Allure is the threshold for me as it is for most of us, but, more importantly, the dwelling that follows is built on like mind and spirit. I've stepped through too many doorways that led to nowhere and stood outside too many beautiful manor homes that have no doors. _____My desired relationship is no doubt a platitude: A friend and a lover. It brings balance to my psyche. My son has a good mother. He doesn't require another. He is well looked after financially and emotionally. I have wonderful relationships with both my mother and my stepmother and that is what I would someday want for my son.
