Currently I'm working in education technology at a local school, reconnecting with Bay Area friends, and exploring the area. This is my first "real" post-college job as I'm transitioning to being a professional in my 20s. I value service and intercultural understanding, whether through formal programs or just in conversation with people different from myself. I am intrigued by ideas that combine business and non-profit models to improve people's lives (social entrepreneurship), especially in developing countries. I spent about four months in Burkina Faso in West Africa and the country and its people remain very special to me. I like to dabble and try new things. Some of the activities I've enjoyed in the past include volunteering with Girl Scouts, Bible studies/fellowship groups, cooking meals with friends, playing soccer, beginning hiking, and writing. I was blessed to be able to spend time on three different continents in the past two years and am currently feeling travel withdrawal!
